Do you think the Korean government is responsible for Lion Heart's charting on Melon

It debuted at 5, dropped to 7, and now it's a 9. Do you think the government is behind this? Do they have any scandals going on that they could be covering up. Because they know SNSD song not charting well will create lots of commotion and articles and media play about them being over and has-beens.

Their past title tracks didn't drop this quickly. It's too ridiculous to be believable.

What I'm saying is...

Party debuted at #1 and stayed in the top 5 for a while. Same with past title tracks.

Why do you think groups debut at #1 on charts? Because of their fans. This is why BIGBANG releases consistently gets all-kills or whatever, and even less popular groups like VIXX. Because their fans know when the songs drop, and they immediately download and stream. How the song charts after that initial hour is the difference between fandom power and public digital power.

So SNSD debuting at #5... is crazy. SISTAR debuting at #3, it makes sense because of their relatively small "fandom". But then they ended up having longevity because of their public popularity.

This is why I think the government is blocking streams and downloads from properly counting. It just doesn't add up.

umm lol?

pretty sure it's charting like that because the song is boring/nothing special and SNSD are losing hype. Besides sones (who love to brag about charts/awards) not many people will give a shit about how SNSD charts let alone actually create a commotion.

What will it take for people to realize SNSD is losing musical relevancy at a rapid rate? It's not rocket science and has been apparent for awhile now.

This though. In fact, since like 2012 SNSD's relevancy hasn't even been centered around their music. They're basically the Suzy of idol groups. Known and popular for their looks, TV shows, dramas, etc. but not really about the music

Shouldn't your question mark be after the "umm" and not after the "lol"?

It debuted at #5 though.

I didn't say they are musically irrelevant, but they are losing musical relevancy at a rapid rate. Debuting at #5 is a disaster for a group as popular as SNSD, but it simply highlights what some people already knew for years, which is that SNSD's popularity is not attributed to their musical activities

I'd go as far as to say that SNSD's relevancy was never centered around their music. Well maybe in 2007-2009, but once they broke out with Gee SM capitalized on it by expanding into different markets (which was already happening pre-Gee)
