Well at least their company (or new company) came out with a statement and didn't leave fans hanging. The way it's phrased (in past tense) it sounds like Winnie may no longer be part of Unicorn. Whatever the reason is I hope that Winnie is ok, and will some day make her return.

 

So any news on Show Brothers? Are they still around?

Idk, maybe it's the same agency under a new management or something.

 

I wish Winnie is ok, but I hope they're not lying to us, it's weird to me that Winnie left at the same time this rebranding (or whatever) is happening, it sounds suspicious similar to the EXID/BESTie split situation. Back in the day some members of EXID were contracted under Shinsadong and others were contracted under the agency, so when the partneship between Shinsadong/agency broke up they had to part ways. I suspect it might be the same thing here: Winnie had/has contract with the agency and the other girls had a contract with Kim Jo Han (or vice versa) and their partneship broke up, leading to this.

 

At least the group is surviving whatever is going on behind the scenes, so let's stay positive.

I don't know but that thought did cross my mind. That Winnie's inactivity is somehow tied to the company's situation but who knows. Where's Dispatch when we need them lol. You're right, Unicorn is surviving and moving forward. Here's to staying positive. :)

why do you guys hate their company ? DX I actually thought show bros did a good enough job, and cartoon blue doesn't seem that bad...yet, i just hope they're as good, or hopefully better, than show bros

Show Bros did do a good job with them, that's why the new company has to surpass my expectations. I can't say I hate Cartoon Blue, but an official MV upload titled simply "HUK MV" indicates there wasn't much thinking. Hopefully it's just a small mistake and not a sign of incompetence.
