I was curious for people here what they use and If you guys had any tips?

I'm not going to lie, I'm just starting. I can find a key and understand how they work also play piano to a basic(1 hand cause.. :imstupid: )  Now trying to get accustomed to the idea of chord and how they work.

I use fl studio 12 but everything I do in it is only to a certain degree (Like I said :imstupid: )

Also If you can give me some of your stuff i'm interested in it too  :chu:

FL Studio 10 (i got it around 3 years ago, that's why i use it and i'm broke and lazy enough not to buy FL 12 lol)

Vsts...

these are 100% must-have

Nexus and it's expansions, they are extremelly useful

Sylenth1 latest version, and find free soundbanks for it (i recommend Rob Lee's soundbanks)

Native Instruments' Massive, it's the perfect synthesizer, so, whenever you want to make your own sounds, go for it.(u could also use downloaded presets though)

also get the latest version of Kontakt bc a shet ton of VSTs are based on it (mainly instrument-based sample libraries like East West Symphonic Orchestra for example, 100% live recorded instruments it's expensive af though xD)

but what specific genres are you planning to make? it could help a lot lol
