Do you think subunits like Orange Caramel and TTS should have separate fandoms?

I know I'll get hate for this but -- fandom names are kinda dumb. My favorite band is The Killers, and their fans are called "Victims". It's so silly, been a fan for 10 years and I refuse to call myself that.

No. A sub unit would only need a separate fandom if the original group disbanded and the sub unit continued promoting. The only current group that might have an argument for creating a separate fandom is orange caramel because they have a completely different concept / sound to their original group (after school) and are arguably more popular.

As far as I'm concerned they already do-- I'm a fan of OC and not AS, therefore I'm in the Orange Caramel fandom. I don't really understand the need for an official fandom name or website or whatever
