  1. Went out of my way to find an Asian contractor to fix my house. Told him that I specifically hired him because he was Asian and that I will use him again in the future.

    1. Tip better in restaurants when the server is Asian.

      1. Decided not to move my kids to a "white" school so that they can develop a solid and healthy Asian identity.

Let's be honest, it's most probably legitimate :)

i don't think it's a troll subreddit? i think it's a legitimate concern, given how the western media has a fixed portrayal of asian men (nerdy/submissive/timid/selfish+wealthy etc).

also y'all are cherry-picking; if you look at the faq they explicitly state that it's a subreddit for self-improvement, catered to the demographic group of asian men.

To discuss sex, culture, masculinity & racial identity with a focus on self-improvement in a global society increasingly lacking a positive identity for Asian men.

come on. there's honestly nothing wrong with this. certainly some posts may be a little... tangential to the crux of what the subreddit is about, like what ashelia posted (though i couldn't find the posts about the contractor/tipping)
