Typical of people who don't follow Exo : 

 

Chanyeol-Hufflepuff : The hardest since I believe he has the characteristics of all houses but he wasn't completely in any of them so Hufflepuff.

 

Xiumin-Ravenclaw : Has been a good student in school (he's even making time for his masters degree rn). Not the jolly type, thoughtful, not particularly cunning but observant and smart (CS2), not really the run-into-the-fight type and has been described as pretty individualistic by other members (like Luna Lovegood was). 

 

Sehun-Slytherin : Ok, the bitch face might have played a role in that.   But otherwise, Suho flat out called him dumb once, he only puts in effort when he has to and he knows how to get everything he wants without sweating for it, which shows his cunning.

 

Suho-Hufflepuff : Loyal, oh so very loyal. A hard worker definitely. A lot of people put him in Ravenclaw but he dropped out of school to focus on training. That just rules him out of Ravenclaw for me.

 

Kai-Ravenclaw : Little bookworm Nini can only belong in Ravenclaw. Plus he's afraid of fireworks/loud noises/confetti, so Gryffindor is out. 

 

Baekhyun-Gryffindor : Between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor but I felt he was brave enough for Gryfindor. 

 

DO-Slytherin : Ambitious and doesn't really have the characteristics of other houses.

 

Chen-Gryffindor : Same as Baekhyun.

Lay-Slytherin (I mistakenly wrote herinSlut at first for some reason  ) : Ambitious. Very ambitious and career-driven. The perfect fit for Slytherin.

That's because J.K.R was too lazy to make more than three characters than showed any resemblances of behaving like a real person (i.e. not in 2D) and admitted she made the Slytherin house the scapegoat before deciding to make the book slightly more realistic and wrote Snape as a good guy. Plus, don't forget the book is from Harry's viewpoint and he is far from being a reliable narrator.

Rapmonster- Definitely Ravenclaw. He's smart, inventive, and sees things in a different way then other people(as can be see whenever he's solving a riddle)

 

Jin- Immediate choice would be Hufflepuff, and though I want to argue I'd also have to agree in the end. A lot of people are under the misconception that Hufflepuff is a boring, no good house but that's really not the case. As someone else mentioned, the books are written in Harry's pov so keep that in mind. Anyway Jin is loyal and always ready to help his members, so thats why hufflepuff wins out in the end for me. 

 

Suga- Slytherin. He's smart enough for Ravenclaw, and is brave but very admittedly lazy when it isn't something he absolutely loves. However, that works for him because he is able to find easier ways to do things, he's sly and cunning but that doesn't mean he's a bad person. He just knows quicker ways to get to the goals, often saving many in the process.

 

JHope- Gryffindor. I was actually debating putting him in Slytherin. He's super smiley, yes, but ohmygod have you seen him when he's serious and/or angry? (i.e. when he's concentrating on instructions or dancing, omg HAWT.) He doesn't hesitate to deal out revenge, though he always plans it out carefully to make sure its the perfect revenge, as well as that he has the right person. He's brave and loyal, and honestly he would always be jumping up and running off to go on quests and the like whenever there's signs of trouble.

 

Jimin- Gryffindor. He's a hard one. I feel like it's a 50/50 chance for Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. I read a post on tumblr that theorized that people were put into gryffindor because they were the ones brave enough to ask to be put in the house, seeing as Gryffindor contains people with characteristics highly belonging to other houses (Hermione- Ravenclaw, Harry-Slytherin, Ron-Hufflepuff). So although he gives off a calming, light and fluffy vibe, I also think he would ask to be put into Gryffindor because he likes to push himself and work hard and he views Gryffindor as the house that matches him the best in that aspect.

 

V- Gryffindor. Honestly he's the same as Jimin. In his case though his recklessness is what ultimately lands him in this house. He just rushes head on into danger, running high on adrenaline and excitement from the prospect of simply being able to be a part of such events. 

 

Jungkook- Slytherin. In my opinion, Jungkookie is brave enough to be in Gryffindor, but he has just enough slyness and "working behind the scenes" to him to be in Slytherin. He loves playing pranks on his hyungs, but he's never punished by teachers because he's never caught. And the hyungs just know it's him, but they can never actually prove it either. He's Suga's protegee, though Suga always denies it.

Well, Pottermore sorted me into Slytherin but this words of yours offend me.   Hufflepuff is never for wizard who didn't excel in anything. That claim is completely rubbish!  Helga Hufflepuff accepts everyone and anyone, not solely a dimwit. Cz if you look at it, Slytherin has more empty headed students by far. You said they didn't excel in anything yet Cedric a hufflepuff, represent Hogwarts at Triwizard tournament, Newt Scarmander as the greatest magizoologist, and some of them are even ended as freaking Minister of magic. Also, you forgot the bad ass Tonks is a hufflepuff as well.

 

Above all, it's Hufflepuff who stand by Harry and helps him the most(beside Gryffindor) during the great hall battle. Not Slytherin, not Ravenclaw, but yes those hufflepuff..

hey i read harry potter series alright,i have my own collection and takes time read it once every year or more,i meant by excel at anything did not meant they were empty headed or anything,that meant they are not brave as griffindors or cunning and ambitious as slytherine or intelligent as ravenclaw,

basically huffepuff  takes students who do not belong to any other houses,and if you have read goblet of fire,the book clearly said it was a great achievement to cedric to represent hogwarts,thats hufflepuffs were so offended and was against harry co representing,because it was after long time hufflepuff won at something,

 

and just because you do not agree with my opinion,doesn't give you right to imply i lied  or didnt read the book.WTH
