SHINee World Europe is a project that began on July of 2015, congregating, in its origins, eleven European countries (Portugal, Spain, France, Poland, Greece, Russia, Germany, Czech & Slovak, Finland, Netherlands) and international fanbases (such as SHINee Forum International). Our main objective is to bring SHINee to Europe on a solo concert. • WHY SO MANY COUNTRIES? We respect each country’s individuality and we know we all love SHINee. We would all love to have them in our countries, but we are also aware that, for several reasons, not all countries are a viable option. With that in mind, we joined forces to make this concert possible for the biggest number of fans. Although we all love our countries, we made the most logical and rational choices by looking at geographical, economical and even demographic facts. We discuss our ideas, compare facts and vote for the best choices when necessary. We are sorry if your country is not chosen but no one is trying to make their country the most important one; the lack of union has made things very hard for European k-pop fans in the past and we are committed to change that. If we all unite we can make a difference. It is time for us to show how much we love SHINee even if sometimes we have to make some sacrifices. • YES, FINALLY A SHINee CONCERT IN EUROPE! No, wait, breathe first. We are NOT announcing a concert. This project WANTS to bring SHINee to Europe and we put together all we could to make this a trustworthy and viable project but everything will depend on whether SM Entertainment wants to take their chances or not. This project is our best opportunity, but we are not announcing a concert and we cannot guarantee one. We can guarantee, however, that this is the most organized project so far and if we all do our best, we can surely get SM's attention. WELL, OKAY, AND WHERE IS THE CONCERT GOING TO BE? After deliberation the union decided Paris is the best option for a SHINee concert. •WHY WAS PARIS THE ELECTED CITY? There were several reasons that led to this decision. Geographically speaking, France is a fairly accessible country. It's possible to find low-cost options by airplane, but it's also possible to travel by train, bus or car. Economically speaking, France has good conditions to support a SHINee concert and to appear as a viable option for SM Entertainment. The fanbase is also important - SHINee has a big French fanbase that has supported the band in the past, making it noticeable internationally (and this helps SM Entertainment to trust in the project and the viability of the concert). Finally, in the past years France had several K-Pop concerts (such as SMTOWN, Secret, Music Bank, Super Junior, Jay Park, INFINITE, Dynamic Duo, VIXX, TEEN TOP, B.A.P, Lunafly, LedApple, FTISLAND, Block B, Boyfriend, UKISS, N'UEST, Boys Republic, Topp Dogg, among others), some of them by using the tools given by My Music Taste. • BUT... MY COUNTRY IS AWESOME TOO! We don't doubt that. Europe has an amazing diversity and all countries are unique. We are sorry for not choosing your country. By choosing Paris we don't intend to consider other countries as inferior or as bad; they are not. But if we want SM Entertainment to think of this as a beneficial investment, we have to show them we are all committed to this; moreover, we have to show them the best options we have based on all the aspects said before. This might be our only chance to make SM Entertainment notice the European fans and they won't trust "us" if we don't show them logical reasons for a concert. • CAN EVERYONE HELP? Yes. If you're an European or international fanbase and want to help us all you need to do is to contact us. New fanbases are welcome to join. If you are an individual and still want to help, worry not. All fanbases will come with projects to make SHINee World Europe a reality and you can be a part of it. But we need to ask your attention for the following: we only want people committed to the project. If you don't agree with the decisions made so far or if you're not willing to support the project as it is today maybe it's best not to join. The project needs to be as serious as possible - SM Entertainment won't accept anything less. • SO... AND HOW DO WE DO THIS? We will be using a website called My Music Taste. In this website people can create pages asking for a concert in the cities they want. Those who want the same only need to go to the page and click "Make". After reaching a certain number (that varies according to the companies and bands), My Music Taste will contact those bands and try to make the concert happen in the chosen cities. • HAS THIS WORKED BEFORE? Yes. My Music Taste has made concerts possible before in several countries, including European ones. It all depends on the people and how united they are. After reaching a certain number of "makes", My Music Taste will keep creating requirements we need to achieve. If we make enough for the project to be viable, the company will try to contact the band and set a concert. If everything works out, the project and the company will then proceed to make contact to sort out all the necessary things for the concert to happen. • I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE CONCERT BUT... I GUESS I WILL CLICK "MAKE" AS WELL! Please, with all due respect, don't. If you don't want to go to the concert of if you already know that you cannot go, don't click "make". By doing that we will have numbers without any correspondence to reality. Concerts have been canceled due to this before and it can lead to awkward situations. If you cannot go you can help with projects that each fanbase will be releasing in the future (using hashtags, mentioning SM Entertainment, spreading the word, etc.), but please don't vote if that is the case. We want our numbers to be realistic, trustworthy and believable, otherwise the project will surely fail. If you are not willing to (or are unable to) make some financial efforts and if you can't commit fully to the project, then please help us in other ways. • IS THAT ALL? Please follow our pages and respective fanbases for more information since we will keep you updated as much as possible. It's possible new things will be added to the project. I am currently in Taiwan and learned too late that Shinee was coming to Taipei in the next few days (oh my god, the retail prices are so high and it's going to be wayyyyyy too packed so I gave up) Paris is a good choice (London as well would have been a good choice, but I've always heard that Paris held concerts were more successful), although I wished they could come to Madrid (in uni over there lol), I'll fly to Paris no matter what hehehe (like that I can also go see my family more often hehehe) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That reduces the number of people likely to help but oh well, it makes sense though. MMT needs to know the true amount of people who will come to the concert. Jilli 7,077 Posted August 10, 2015 Share Posted August 10, 2015 i did this also for Germany some time ago...but i couldn't spread it like you on a big platform i hope this works ..though i think this kind of thing is not working for "bigger" groups/bands I'm having issues with verifying my email so I can't buy that taste thing?
