Tan skin is considered hypersexual in Korea. So someone with pale skin is the 'madonna' or ideal wife/daughter, while someone with dark skin is considered the 'whore' or an ideal sexual hookup. And Sistar is said to be very popular with college students because they're sexy. I'm oversimplifying it a fuck ton, but that's my understanding. The general public doesn't even know the name of the other two who are more white.
