SS501 reunite for Heo Young Saeng's solo concert before his enlistment

 

 

After three long years, SS501 finally reunited for Heo Young Saeng's farewell concert!

Heo Young Saeng held his first solo concert, '2013 Heo Young Saeng Seoul Concert 0513 MY STORY' at UNIQLO AX Hall on the 26th at 7:30 PM KST. The singer gave his farewell greetings to fans before enlisting into the army. But his fellow members of SS501 were also present to show their support and reunited on stage for the first time in three years for a touching performance.

 

Heo Young Saeng will enlist on the 31st.

Kim Hyun Joong has begun filming for his upcoming KBS drama 'Generation of Youth'!

 

Kim Hyun Joong held his first filming session at a restaurant in Mapo, Seoul last week and his eyes tell fans that he's ready for whatever mission lies ahead as shown in the still cuts. Kim Hyun Joong plays the role of Shin Jung Tae, who is a fighter who would do anything to protect his younger sister.

 

Kim Hyun Joong shared, "I am very joyful to work with a good production and renowned staff. More than anything else, I am focusing on trying to understand my character Shin Jung Tae's past, emotional baggage, and current situation while filming... We are working hard to perfect the important action scenes so please look forward to it."

Kim Hyun Joong picked up an award for the fifth consecutive year at the 'Yahoo Asia Buzz Awards 2013' held in Hong Kong. He was given the title of 'Top Buzz Korean Artist', which awards the most searched Korean star on the portal site over the past year. The singer-turned-actor was unable to make it to the event on December 1 due to scheduling conflicts but made sure to thanks his fans.

 

Kim Hyun Joong shared, "I heard the news of my award while filming the drama, 'Generation of Youth'. Due to my filming schedule, I wasn't able to attend the awards ceremony but thank you to all the fans for their unfailing support for the past five years... I will return the support with good acting and music."

Kim Hyun Joong, Lim Soo Hyang, Jin Se Yeon, and more looked like they popped out of a classic action-crime film at a studio in Nonhyeondong, Seoul last month. The SS501 leader made his fighting spirit especially sexy with his charisma and battle scars. Lim Soo Hyang and Jin Se Yeon also bared some skin but gave off a different vibe with sexy and cute charms, respectively.

SS501's Kim Kyu Jong deletes his Twitter account?

 

It appears that SS501's Kim Kyu Jong has deleted his Twitter account.

 

His final tweet before disabling his account read, "Thank you..♥ Sorry..♥", making fans curious as to why he might have deleted his account. He didn't provide an explanation as to why he was deleting the account, and his label hasn't made any explanations either.

 

In any case, going to his previous page @2kjdream brings up an error page. Hopefully, everything is all right!

'Generation of Youth' captured its noir vibe against the backdrop of Shanghai with Kim Hyun Joong as the center in its teaser poster!

 

The dark colors of the city and Kim Hyun Joong's vintage striped suit and fedora match the timeline of the drama which takes place in the 1930s, further emphasized by the title's calligraphy design done by actor Jo Dal Hwan. Although we don't get to see all of the idol-turned-actor's handsome face, the poster achieves a darker and more mysterious effect.

Santa Kim Hyung Jun donates 2 tons of rice and gives presents to low-income children

 

 

 

Singer and actor Kim Hyung Jun transformed into a generous Santa for the Holidays.

 

According to his agency SPLUS Entertainment on December 27, Kim Hyung Jun donated over 2 tons of rice and gave out presents to low-income children at the 'Love's Santa Clause Festival,' which took place at the Seoul Youth Center on December 23.

 

This was the third year he participated in such generous acts.  Starting in 2011, he always donated rice and went with 100 other volunteers to call on families who received welfare to give them presents.

 

This year he was not able to personally show up because of his schedule for the KBS drama 'Love Through Song,' but he made sure to send a video message! Meanwhile, Kim Hyung Jun will go on an exclusive Latin America tour concert in January and have a concert in Korea in February.

KBS 2TV's 'Generation of Youth' already put us on the edge of excitement with new stills of Kim Hyun Joong's transformation as a fighter!

 

His character, Kim Hyun Joong shows that there's more to him than meets the eye with his looks of determination to fight for what's right and possibly love in a city filled with underground corruption. The actor puts aside his flower boy image to become a rugged fighter for the drama which will take fans back in time to the 1930s.

Kim Hyun Joong looked almost 'unbreakable' with his hardcore abs for KBS 2TV's 'Generation of Youth' !

 

Kim Hyun Joong didn't need a stunt man for the action scenes with his fighter figure and determination and went shirtless to show off the fruits of his labor.

 

He shared, "At first, I tried to make the most sculpted body I could but as I thought about it, I realized there was no exercise equipment and protein supplements in the 1930s that we have today. That is why I just stuck to eating meat and vegetables and made a healthy body in a realistic way. So although you may think 'it's not that great of a body' as you watch my scenes, I hope you will keep in mind that I toned my body in consideration for the generation of the drama."

 

"For 'Generation of Youth', rather than using a lot of wire-like special equipment for the action scenes, we used our own bodies to clash with one another to fight. As much as my bruises increase after each filming, I think you will be able to feel the realistic action of the 1930s."

Kim Hyung Jun will celebrate his 3rd anniversary as a solo artist with a solo concert in Seoul on February 8!

 

His agency S-PLUS Entertainment stated on January 14, "Kim Hyung Jun will hold his 3rd solo debut anniversary solo concert 'He, His Story' at Yonsei University Auditorium, Seoul on February 8... Kim Hyun Joong revealed he's a lover not a fighter, different from his character on 'Generation of Youth'.

 

During the press conference for the drama, 'Entertainment Relay' met up with the handsome actors backstage and asked, "You are all known as manly men. Is there something that you're afraid of?" Kim Hyun Joong shared, "What am I scared of? I think I am scared of people who tell you to join something. I was pressured into joining a few things."

 

When asked, "Among the three of you, who do you think would be the most difficult to face-off with?" Kim Hyun Joong shared, "I think the person that is the scariest is our martial arts director. He really loves [being] real. He talks about consideration a lot. He always says, 'You have to really hit [someone] to be considerate of them. Because we can finish quicker that way.'"

 

During the 'OX' game, in response to the question, "To be honest, I fight better with words than with fists." Kim Hyun Joong raised an 'X' and shared, "Not long ago, at a bar, I was drinking when a drunk person threw soju at me saying it was because I was sitting next to him. But there was nothing for me to do. So I just paid for his table," showing his polite manners.

Hi, didn't see any Jung Min thread so might as well post here. 

Has anyone listened to Jung Min's Japanese album Midnight Theatre? (His stage name is Romeo)

I absolutely love it. It's currently my most listened to album with over 1000 plays and I really don't see any album topping it. It's rare that I listen to an album that I like all the songs the same way.  I own the A version. Being a Japanese album it did cost a lot but it is well worth it. The dvd that came with it was cool too. Shame it is only performances of about 1/3 of the album, but good to watch anyways.

 

So anyone else really love this album?

Kim Hyun Joong diligently studies the script for starring drama 'Generation of Youth'

 

Heartthrob Kim Hyun Joong, who has made his return as an actor to the small screen, was spotted diligently studying his script in the BTS cut released by KBS 2TV drama 'Generation of Youth'. 

 

He seems completely immersed, even plugging in ear buds to block out surrounding noise and increase concentration. Judging by the stage makeup and the faux injuries he has on his face, it appears as though he is waiting for his next scene.

 

A rep said, "Even though we film throughout the night continuously day after day and he needs to do many action scenes, Kim Hyun Joong remains absorbed in acting and does not waver, which is why the staff on set always talk about him in complimentary tones."

Kim Hyun Joong's fans showed their hearts of gold by feeding the cast and staff with a food truck on the set of 'Generation of Youth'!

 

The fans thanked the drama's crew for their hard work especially in the cold weather with a food truck featuring a banner which read, "Enjoy a delicious meal ^^. For the staff, it's free!! For Jung Tae, it's 3000 KRW (~$3 USD)!!!", alluding to a scene in the drama in which Shin Jung Tae gives up 3000 KRW to eat kimchi stew.

 

Kim Hyun Joong's fans have shown their overwhelming care and consideration time and time again with their coat gifts for the staff, food trucks, and an 18-ton rice wreath during the drama's press conference to cheer the actor on as well.

Kim Hyun Joong talked about the improvement of labor for his drama staff.

 

On the 2nd, KBS 2TV's 'Documentary 3 Days' aired a special video about the BTS of 'Generation of Youth'. The documentary showed the staff working day and night without even a moment of rest.

 

During the interview, Kim Hyun Joong said, "If a drama becomes a hit, the actors get everything in profit. To be honest, the staff doesn't have any other reward. All they get is the satisfaction that they participated in the drama."  

 

He added, "Even though the environment isn't improving at all, all the staff work even harder to make a better drama on another level."

So Yi Hyun and Kim Hyung Jun's reps deny dating rumor

 

 

Although it was reported that Kim Hyung Jun and So Yi Hyun were dating, both agencies have stepped out to deny such claims on March 3.  However, there appeared to have been some confusion as to the facts and maybe some miscommunication.

 

A high-ranking representative of Kim Hyung Jun's agency S-Plus Entertainment told Sports Seoul that the two had indeed dated after getting close through the drama 'Sunshine Girl.'  During their relationship, they had broken up once and gotten back together, but the rep admitted to not knowing the exact details at the moment. However, after the reports went out, the same rep said that they had broken up just a few days before because it was hard on Kim Hyung Jun every weekend. 

 

So Yi Hyun's agency Key East Entertainment told My Daily on March 3, "We heard that they were friendly while appearing together on KBS drama 'Sunshine Girl.'  Even now, the two are close colleagues, but So Yi Hyun is not dating anyone right now."

 

Kim Hyung Jun's agency S-Plus Entertainment also told My Daily, "It is true he was close to So Yi Hyun, but they did not meet each other on intimate terms or date.  It was said that the two had previously broken up and then started dating again, but we've confirmed that this was false.  Both Kim Hyung Jun and So Yi Hyun have animated personalities so they actively maintained their friendship, and that is all."

 

The previous S-Plus Entertainment rep also told Sports Seoul, "Because Kim Hyung Jun's party did not talk about their positions with So Yi Hyun's party, it appears his side felt burdened by acknowledging the dating rumor.  I think So Yi Hyun's' side strongly raised objections against Kim Hyung Jun's side.

 

So Yi Hyun's agency called us and created a fuss.  There were stuff that I said so I can't deny anything, but since it's awkward right now, I will just say they never dated for now."

 

As you can see, things are still a bit fuzzy and unclear at the moment, but it appears both agencies have denied the dating rumor at the moment.
