Hey zee!  Glad to see some old faces still following SS501 <3  Been so busy lately that I haven't had time to catch up with the news on here

SS501 want to reunite again like Shinhwa?

 

 

SS501‘s Heo Young Saeng gave hope to fans with his wish to possibly reunite like the longest-running idol group Shinhwa.

 

During a recent filming for KBS2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Heo Young Saeng revealed he’s been thinking a lot about his group SS501 these days with the pending comeback of Shinhwa. He shared, “When I look at Shinhwa, who continues to gain popularity without breaking up over the past 15 years, it makes me reflect [on my own group].† 

 

“After watching Shinhwa on ‘Win Win‘, I thought of my SS501 members and sent text messages to them. The other members were also watching that broadcast with the same heart,†revealing the members’ special bond that they’ve gained throughout their years together.

 

Is a possible reunion in store? Tune in to see what Heo Young has to say about SS501 on May 16 at 11:15 PM KST.

Don't take this the wrong way, but them re-uniting doesn't necessarily mean the rebirth of SS501 era.  I would absolutely love for them to have a one-night-only reunion between them and the fans (which I said before in the old forum).  I personally don't want them to reunite for real because time has passed, and I'd rather they sing their old songs as to re-live memory... hm

So true and fans need to realise this. If they wanted to have a serious career as a group they would have reunited long time ago but fans have moved on and the members have all gone in different directions. I am just happy seeing them together as friends but if they one day choose to pull a Shinhwa I will fully support them...

This does not mean I am going to wait for such a day and I have gotten to the point where I do not have any expectations for them as a group anymore.

But yes, I don't support their future as a group because there is none imo.

Shinhwa disappeared like a for four to five years and did military device and each member had their own career and then they came back with tours and an album last year...

 

So if they come back I will support them as a fan but I do not think they would be successful if they did so.

I think it will be a bad decision if they reunite.  As you've mentioned before, times have on and so have fans.  I would love them however to reunite for a final concert and then officially retire as SS501, not as individual singers.  That'd be better.

Kim Hyun Joong powers through despite injury while catching lobsters on 'Barefoot Friends'

 

Kim Hyun Joong suffered a minor cut to his finger while catching lobsters with his bare hands on 'Barefoot Friends'. 

 

On the May 26th broadcast, the 'Barefoot Friends' were whisked off to Yogyakarta, Indonesia where the members were challenged to catch spiny lobsters among the rocky island before the waves reach their peak.

 

Kim Hyun Joong surprised the cast with his fearless spirit by effortlessly climbing and crossing over from rock to rock to catch the lobsters from the waves. Once the actor successfully caught the spiny creatures, Kim Hyun Joong's finger began to bleed, but the actor brushed it off as if it had no effect on him sharing, "I feel good", revealing his love for the waves and mother nature.

 

Who knew the former 'Flower Boy' was this rugged.

@eggy : me ? actually I'm Saengie's & Baby Jun's biased... but still I LOVE all of them... and of course I'm supporting them as solo artist and as a group also...

Yeah, I think all of us here are hoping for a reunion concert to happen some time in the future

My friend got me stuck on Kim Hyung Jun, I don't spazz about oppas much but man is he FYINE!

I'm still listening to his first mini album.  I really love 'oh! ah!' <3

Omfg, I LOVE That song! He looks SO handsome in the MV!

He is rather gorgeous in that MV.  And the girl in that, I find her one of the most stunning girls in K-Pop MV's, no kidding.

I think I need to introduce you to some girl groups

I'm not into girl groups in particularly either; their pretence to be girly is so sickly sweet, it's too much.  SNSD is okay... when they're sophisticated and not sugary and cute.  I listen to SNSD, Davichi, 4minute and f(x), but I'm not a fan of any of them.  Girls groups are just NO.

 

i have liked perfume for some years, do that count?   but no kpop girl groups, but i guess im ALRIGHT with fx

f(x)'s NUABO is a good song

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong's third Japanese single album sold over 100,000 on the day of its release!

 

Not only did 'Tonight' sell 101,818 copies, Kim Hyun Joong sold the most records by a foreign artist in Japan the same day. The album landed him at #2 on Oricon's daily single charts as well.
