Actors (including idol actors) who are criticized for their acting but you don't think they are that bad?

actually i think more drama actors should be criticized. there aren't a lot of good actors in kdramas, idol or not.

Before SWWTN started he was critized a lot, many people were pessimists about his role in the drama, but glad to know people have changed their mind

i watched k-dramas regularly. i found more actors to be worse thn idols but they never get as much hate as idols.

Jin Se Yeon. She's a mediocre actress but she's not as terrible as what people said.I felt that there's a lot of bandwagon hate on her

 

Kim Tae Hee. She's not a bad actress.She was actually good in Jang Ok Jung

He had something that draws you in, but his acting usually tries it's best to chase you out again. Plus, there should be a certain age were you are no longer allowed to play high schoolers (though him in "Heirs" want as big of a stretch as Shun Oguri in "Nobunaga Concerto"...)

 

 

I am picky. I don't watch dramas were the acting is bad usually. Though I will say that a lot of actors are up and down, good in this, not so much in that.

I also think suzy did well in dream high. Her role was supposed to be cold,emotionless and bratty, so she did justice for that.

And I don't find Yunho's acting that cringeworthy. There are far more worse actor than him.

Suzy is definitely underrated.. I saw her in A101 and IMHO girl is gamed but she obviously has alot of haters who will take anything she touchs or do negative. she is to good looking and steal headlines from other bias which is ultimately why she is hated on its nothing personal but stealing the headlines and limelight is viewed as a crime

If you remove LMH the KPOP hallyu discover would have never happened likely and he has such a monoploy over other dramas that its not even funny anymore his dramas get watch like crazy where other dramas are abandon compared to his.. which indicts his huge popularity cap to others and loved for his roles.. he has above 51mio+ worldwide fans its ridiculous and probably the only true mainstream actor or individual korean celebrity

He is crazy popular and even though I don't think he is a great actor, he had something that always keeps me watching and looking forward to his next role. He is like my one exception. I will always watch, even though the acting may not be great.

 

I agree that people watch him and not others (which is a shame because there are some true masters in the crowd, they just don't get hyped by foreign fans because a lot of them are older, or haven't done a drama in a while). Even though he isn't nearly as popular domestically as he is internationally, he still getting big roles simply because the overseas fans. I can't fault him for taking advantage of that, I just wish he never released a fan thank you track and took an acting class instead.

I heard people hadn't given much of Producers because IU was in it. I mean I think she's pretty decent, I watch through the 50 episodes of You're the Best Lee... In Dream High, can't say much. I think IU is pretty decent, and has improved each drama she done. 

I like Suzy, I wasn't aware she got any heat/hate for her acting.

 

I think Sooyoung is a better actor than Yoona. Taecyeon wasn't great to start, but he's getting better and partial it has to do with better roles too I guess. 

 

people get rowdy over anything it seems. sometimes you get people who can act but just into a crappy role and poor script/direction. vice versa, and other stuff. I think a lot of people in the acting game will be typecast in the korean entertainment world. So it gets a little hard to really tell how good or how bad they are sometimes. The guys/gals who have done various ranges of roles are often viewed as good, and i think that makes sense too.
