Mess.

Never become friends with a group of procrastinators. All of my friends basically never went to class and no one went to bed to 6am. Another thing never become friends with a couple or be friends with a group of couples because you will always be dragged in mess at 4 am while you are trying to sleep. Then going out to clubs when you have exams and dealing with cheating assholes. Your friends having pregnancy scares. Your friends catching their bf in the act..

BASICALLY. My experience was a mess. TERRIBLE MESS

I'm getting down voted for MY experience. O...K.

edit

Anyways. I love college but some of my company wasn't the best TBH. I still have some good friends from freshmen year but I really wish I could do freshmen year all over again. I'm extremely disappointed in myself for allowing myself to go wild freshmen year and letting people walk over me and not putting my foot down when I'm studying. I love college and still do its freedom but its freedom with a price. You need to pick and choose your battles and make the right choices for you and not others around you..

because you will just find yourself in trouble but I love college.

My first year was alright. The adjustment was easy, but I have to retake one class (but I know what needs to be done to pass, and I'm confident in my ability). I was a good roommate. Got along with my first roommate. Can't say the same for my second roommate.

All I did was do academic stuff, then stayed on the Internet when I was finished. Basically did what I always did in high school. Didn't go out. Wasn't involved in a student org. Didn't pay attention to dates for campus activities, therefore didn't go to any. I had a friend, but I was usually the one who had to hit her up, so we grew apart.

Things are going to change this year, though.

It depends of some factors. I think I would get mad if I get the classes with a lot of people (40 to up) because I think it's better to interact with the teacher in the classes (when with doubts mainly) and it's kind of impossible when classes are giant. In my course there're less people and it's more comfortable. Of course there are moments (many of them) you want to throw everything and give up but in the end all the effort worths. Also I always felt very comfortable with most people there (teachers and students/there are exceptions though) because as we're in a small group almost everyone helps and incentive each other a lot and that was crucial to me. At first (in the first year mainly), I felt scared and thought I was making a mistake on that graduation but with time I got used with the hardships and realized I didn't see myself doing anything different.

the two first years were nice

the campus is like 30/40 min away from my house (10 min by car)

adjusting wasn't too hard, from an academic point of view i did have a few moments when i thought i was going to break down and just cry but i guess that's a part of almost every student's life anyway??

super nice profs, really understanding and sometimes close enough to the students that you feel comfortable with them

never more than 30 ppl in my course so making friends is easy, my closest friends today are all people i met in college

i hope it will go on this way but idk i should be done with my bachelor's degree this year if nothing goes wrong and i'll probably go somewhere else for my master's degree or like try out for an engineering school so i'm quite stressed out about that, i think this year is going to be the hardest so far ;___;

I wish you luck! omg only 30ppl? I only had one class so far that was small. All my other classes had 3-400+ people and it felt isolating. T_T If you do become a grad student I hope it goes well for you and you dont get too stressed ♥

Omg are we the same person.

Yeah I got along ok with my roommate but I started to hate her after a while because of how inconsiderate she was. "Sorry Cinnamon, I wont do that again!" she said and then she did it again over and over again until I got tired of asking her to stop.

Yeah I'm planning on getting a job, maybe joining something, try to make a few more friends. Let's both do well, yeah? Fighting to the both of us. You can do it! I'll do my best as well.

It'll be less time on the computer, but hey. At least I'll be doing something else fun outside of academics. Fighting!!
