What songs did you find lukewarm at first that later grew on you til u loved it?

I'm talking about growers, rather than showers :ninja: . Give your reasons, too if you have any! :stare:

I'll go in reverse chronological order. From the current promotions, Beast's YeY (2015)

Reason: I'm an EDM fan and am also very fond of club bangers. I'm not an expert but imo the drop in YeY is poor and the synthy bits in the instrumental sounded a bit sloppy. After the masterpiece that was Gotta Go To Work, YeY was a bit of a let down, but since I'm very fond of Beast I gave it a couple more listens and the synthy bits started to grow on me and the vocals were still A+ even if the instrumental didn't quite do them justice.

f(x) Red Light (2014)

Reason: the song sounds like it's building up to a climax and then it just fizzles out and peeters out a bit. A bit similar to YeY in that the "drop", if you can even call it that, was poor. And, similar to YeY, I kept listening to it because I liked f(x) a lot and focused more on the vocals until I liked it again.

EXO Wolf (2013)

Reason:"awooooooo"

But even though I wasnt very fond of the song at first the choreography was so legendary  :ahmagah:  that over time spent watching the performances it grew on me. The awoo part is easy to ignore since the rest of the song is good

VIXX Super Hero (2012)

Reason: I cant help but cringe when I hear poor English in songs and I really disliked Ravi's rapping in general. He's not bad at all! I just wasn't fond of his tone and the way he kept doing this growly thing when he rapped. Eventually I got used to his voice and rapping style, and I'm a Starlight now, but in the begining I used to skip Ravi's parts :rlytearpls: sorry ravibb /shot

edit: putting em in spoilers so i dont kill ur cpu

Hm. What immediately comes to mind is EXO's Call Me Baby. Honestly I thought it was fine, but really generic, and that it sounded like a b-side rather than a title track. Plus, I expected more following Overdose. But I grew to like it after overcoming the disappointment. I don't love it, but I can appreciate it for what it is.

edit: Oh, and, I thought BTS's Tomorrow was overhyped (even as a b-side) the first time I listened to it. But now I really do love that song and I get why the fandom generally likes it, too. I just couldn't get past the english ("like breakerrrr") in the chorus at first.

EXO - Tender Love (never really paid attention until my sister made a comment about it), Call Me Baby (I was too focused on the visuals and the dancing), Transformer, Exodus, Playboy, Promise (Chanyeol's rap was off-putting at first but now it was the part that I looked forward to the most).

However, I still haven't warmed up to El Dorado.
