Just rumors from insiders that LOEN Entertainment is talking to Starship about an acquisition.

 

Nothing concrete, but these rumors seem a little more substantial than the rumors that SM wanted to buy Starship.  

 

What's the point? Sistar and Starship seem to be doing fine on its own.

 

This just means Starship will have to split the profits with LEON then, so I don't get why they would do that.

Nice outfit she has on there. As cute and innocent as she seems, I can picture her doing an edgy concept. In fact, GsD should consider doing something edgy, not just sexy, but something kinda dark.

2NE1 recently did a 'dark' concept, and it had an 'artistic' element to it. GsD hasn't done something like that so far. They are more like party/cute/sexy girls, which are usually simple concepts. It would take effort and money from their company to get to that level, which they probably don't have.

I would be happy if they tried something more  edgy/sexier than FP/Expect, maybe even going into nude territory like CL did.

 

Well, if they can transition from cute to sexy like they did with "Expect" then I think it should be easy for them to do a dark concept. I mean, it's basically the same as a sexy concept, which they've shown they can do well. All they have to do is wear darker colors and different outfits, like the pic of Minah above. And use a little more serious lyrics. So I'm not sure why it'd be a problem or cost more money.

I'm not sure what you guys consider a dark concept, but for me Expectation was exactly that: a sexy and mature song, darker outfits and a sexy choreo.

 

So doing it again in the next comeback wouldn't be a change imo.

 

 

 

For me EXPECT was just sexy. By darker I mean a bit more edgy, or even kinda....evil? O_o

They could do a concept like NLF but make the song darker or more rock oriented as well.

I'm not sure what you consider more edgy than Expectation, I don't want something trashy, but the evil concept or whatever that is didn't attract me so much.

 

That's about as well I as could explain it, its dark and sexy, semi evil with the torture and vampire thing. I'm not saying it has to be exactly like that MV, it can be something totally different. But that's what I mean by sexy and edgy. 4minute "volume up" another example. But again, doesn't have to be vampires, it's just that the edgy kpop stuff I can think of has vampires. They could like a rock band or gang members or something like that. Just something that says "danger".

I've been watching her show.  (Thanks for the cuts, GDD!  Who is Albert Chen?)

 

I'm starting to get confused about whether that's her real personality.  She is REALLY convincing.  Great acting.

 

It's hard to know what any idols is truly like, since all was see is their on screen behavior. It's all about the imagine they wanna portray, so sometimes it could just be acting. But for some it's genuine, but you can never really know unless you know them personally.

But in this case, I'm talking about her acting on a sitcom.  So supposedly, she's just playing a character.  But she's so convincing, it really seems like the writers based her character on her real personality.

 

It's interesting to see our idols acting.  Sometimes, their acting can really mess with the image you have of them.

 

I think the directors just basically told her to be herself, be free, and just act. Whether she's really like that on her own or for the sake of Kpop I don't know. But that is how she portrays her self to the millions of kpop lovers, so just gotta assume that's how she is. Which makes acting easier, since she doesn't have to do anything she's not used to doing.

They didn't have much makeup on so it makes them look tired, also idols only sleep 4 hours a night anyway so it's normal.

MInah's personality is literally perfect for TV it's unbelievable how natural she is.

^ The fans waiting in the rain just to see them getting in the studio... I'm not even sure if they are going to watch the recording. It's the same thing with the fans waiting for Minah every week after the Inkigayo recording... that's a lot of dedication. That's why the GsD members recognize these guys (and girls?).

 

Also kinda be a bit careful with some fans, I hear there are a lot of those super fans that follow them around all the time. And that's not always a good thing, because they watch every move the idols makes. Not saying those fans are like that, but there are some like that. The bigger groups need a lot of security.
