But what's the point of that show?  It's another weekly performance show?  No awards.  SBS already has Inkigayo, but they felt they needed another one on MTV?  I thought the ratings for these shows were bad.  Maybe the ratings are getting better...

 

The show isn't new but it was on hiatus for a couple years, for whatever reason they brought it back. I don't mind it actually, the stage and production looks good, and for me, the more chances to see good perfs the better.

 

 

The good thing is the fact that this show doesn't have one pointless award.

5 music shows a week with awards is already enough or it's actually too much.
It's funny how there's one music show for almost every day of the week, Music Champion is lasting longer than what I expected, I thought by now it would be already cancelled.

 

Music Champion is good for the rookies though, it's really the only place they can shine. If you take that away, then you're left with the big shows which are always more biased to bigger groups. Also, some shows are on cable and others are local, so it's not like you literately see every show on TV. It's just that because of the internet we can see everything. So I don't think it's bad to have many shows.

Are they uploading good quality vids to youtube?

 

I haven't been paying attention to the show, other than the non-performance cuts.

I don't think awards are necessary, there are already plenty of those. I think it should be like simply Kpop and just focus on the performances. The quality is pretty good, nice audio and big stage. You can check out T-ara's perf and see for yourself. Edited by NineBraveMuses

I never said it was bad to have many shows, I don't think we need so many shows with awards. In the shows from public networks, the smaller groups usually have their songs edited to only 3 or less minutes, so I think it's good to have other shows like Simply K-Pop, The Show... And I'm not saying Show Champion should be cancelled, but I do think it won't last so much as the others, the production is very basic.

 

Ah, well, the more the better anyway. I mean it's important to smaller groups because they can promote more.

miss A's song is great, but lol, I just keep hearing 'hush' and 'give it to me'...apink & sistar say those lines in their songs about a hundred times, too, lol.  I'm sure miss a fans are already getting annoyed from people complaining about it, haha.

 

Haha, seems like everybody is thinking the same thing. I guess JYP had the ideal of, take to popular songs, and mashed them together and get one mega song, lol.

In terms of physical appeal, but as a whole GsD > mA in terms of sexiness.

 

Speaking of which, I found a pic of a girl that reminded me of Yura, if her hotness level went to 11.

Who cares about rapping when you're that hot? Lol

I don't care it she's the worst, with looks like that I'd call her the ultimate idol, lol.

I also thought it was going to be Minah doing the solo project, as she is the most go-getter in the group. Sojin will probably go after Minah if she is successful. I think solo debuts are often non-cutesy in concept because they want to present the serious and artistic side of an idol.

 

True, a solo is all about showcasing their vocal ability and you can't do that very good with a cute concept. The concept doesn't necessarily have to be sexy either. Just a normal concept.

- Teach Sojin how to play pool (she's really bad at it lol)

 

She's not going to hit the balls into the pockets if she continues to hold the cue like that.

 

Her form wasn't actually that bad, and she made nice contact with the ball. Tho Hyeri looks a lot better, not surprised tho, she seems to always be the more skill member when it comes to sports, haha...I wonder where she learned.

I thought Sojin looked fairly noobie.  But ya, Hyeri looked like she's spent quite a lot of time in pool halls, haha.

 

Well, the way she was standing was ok, but everything after that wasn't that great. But like I said,  she made good conctact because you can hear the smack when the balls hit. Tho I'm not one to judge, I'm not that good at pool, lol.

Did anybody see anything negative in there at all? absolutely not. Tell me how exactly I said anything in their worth a minus. I can't see it. Somebody fix that please.

That is seriously the most embarrassing introduction out of all the female idols...no question, haha.

 

When she did it on Mnet Wide Open Studio during Expect promotions, I thought I'd die laughing.

 

I just can't believe how young she looks in this vid, you'd think she's like 18 or something, wow, so cute.
