Did anyone watch girl's day live on gurupop that one time back in september 2012 ?

It's the only time I've ever seen them live, I miss that feeling I had whilst watching it.

Is there a GsD subber?  I remember seeing subbed videos, every so often.

 

From what I can tell, they were laughing at some word play or pun or something.  It's beyond my korean to understand stuff like that, though.  Someone pointed out that Sojin has a 22 inch waist.  Minah asked if all her organs fit (or something).  Yura said internal memory?  I don't know, lol.

 

I think most of the subbed videos are done by FCC or GDD, but it's usually small videos.

This one probably wont't be subbed, at least not so soon. I still wish I could watch the latest Beatles Code with GsD subbed.

I can't see much of a change, but if it's for good, I don't care. She looks gorgeous now and that's all that matters to me.

Yep, I've literally seen it like 8 times already, I love this show.  I love how they actually speak English throughout the whole show. They were all so cute I was puking rainbows and calculators.

I still remember Hyeri always saying "wait a minute", lol, and they Minah said to Yura "I love you" and Yura reply "I love you, you hate me!" There were just too many cute moments in there.  Like when they were playing the cup game, Minah kept telling Sojin "calm down", lol, tempted to watch it again.

It's so funny to watch them trying to speak engrish, they were always saying random things lol

^ You're right, I remember hearing about this price change before, so it probably wouldn't make much sense to compare the numbers.

I feel they had more success with Expectation, but I was curious about how much they improved compared to DFM

Let's look at GsD.  I can't find complete sales because they weren't on the top 100 chart, so I have to approximate by adding their 2012 monthly sales.

 

OMG - 62m DA's

DFM - 69m DA's

Expect - ~100m DA's

 

If Expect sold on par with their previous songs, with the price drop, Expect should have sold about 45m.  But it sold ~100m, so it far exceeded expectations.  Now we have to wait and see how it compares to other mid tier girl groups.  Expect outsold Rainbow, but I don't think it'll beat Secret.

We can see that GsD had a significant grow. And to beat Rainbow, considering their hiatus and everything else, it is a big achievement.

^ The number of events they are doing is insane, I'm hopping that this popularity boost will reflect in their next single. If they have two successful songs in a row, I believe they could achieve another level.
