Is it just me or do their past few comebacks seem too similar in concept????? I know that the members are enjoying the sexy, sensual concept that they've been going for and that's totally cool and awesome because of course I want them to do what they love and are comfortable doing but I feel like the concepts themselves aren't too different from one another? For example, some of the concept images from RPM are so similar to the ones from Sensuous era. When I bought the RPM album and flipped through the photos, I literally felt like I saw these photos already in a different era? I feel like this is FNC being a bit lazy tbh. With lots of boy groups going for dark concepts these days, FNC aren't putting in enough effort imo to set them apart from the others. Narcissus was a little different but the music video for Enough didn't highlight that. I'm starting to feel like the concepts are getting blurred between each comeback when that wasn't the case from Feeling Sensation up until Sensuous. Anyway, that's kinda the minor gripe I have. The music has been A+ and getting better each time but in terms of the concepts that play a huge role in getting people's attention (especially non-fans or casual fans), I think it needs more work? I feel like what FNC has been doing lately has been feeling kinda uninspired?

 

I thought that with Enough (which frankly, I didn't love the song until it was no longer their latest), but RPM felt so different. Like, similar style, but different concept entirely what with all the lasers and the scifi lookin shit (Science Fiction 9 btw) where Enough was them with wet hair lookin in mirrors and then Now or Never was...idk but it was excellent and I would like to see it. Rather than thinking everything's been too samey as of late, it looks to me like they've found their sound and style after much experimentation. Of course I, like every other Fantasy, would love to see some songs like their old stuff on future albums, but as far as title tracks go I think their on a roll with this sound and style the songs have been some of my absolute faves from them (obviously nothing can beat Easy Love...but that's for another conversation

What I wanna see though is a change of format. Every comeback has been a mini album, they're already up to 7 in three years of debut. Like they could literally release a jilleoss rehash next cb and I'd be happy as long as it wasn't attached to '8th mini album' I'm TIRED!! even a digital single would be preferable I don't want more minis please that's all you've released since I got here

I liked the modern-day-pirate-y vibes I got from the Narcissus teasers but then the MV was just a bit meh and song was nice, but not IT. I think you're right though on how they've found their sound/style and are sticking to it. From what the members themselves have been saying, I think they all enjoy and love it. I just wished it felt a bit more inspired(?), for lack of better word.   

Good point on the change of format though. A full length album would be the death of me tbh because their music has been consistently improving in quality each time I can't even imagine having DOUBLE the goodness. As for a single...they can keep that I'm not a fan of those HAHAHHA 😂 

okay maybe it's cos I don't follow kpop anymore and sf9's the only bg I'm into but the harnesses and chokers can stay tbh! I'm living for thotf9

also I'm really hoping for a full album within the next year. the timing is right and I can't wait to see what they do for it, since full albums always have an upgrade in concept (hopefully an upgrade in thotiness🗿) if the next cb is another mini I WILL lose it!!!
