To which one could ask; well then why is adultery legal in some countries as well? Both practices deal with having multiple partners but the attitudes towards them; in a cultural and a legal sense, are very different depending on the country/ region you are in. ingenting 1,781 Posted August 4, 2015 Share Posted August 4, 2015 in my country it's legal to sell sex, but illegal to buy it. the reason is trying to prevent people from being exploited. it's a way to be able to arrest, interrogate and punish those who have bought favours from someone who's a victim of for example trafficing, otherwise they'd just be seen as witnesses and the law can't force them to come forward. but i'm not sure, maybe making prostitution legal but regulate and keep a close watch on it would benfit the workers more. Since they dont have to hide, they go into an official house/Pascha. They get more safety if something happends, coz there are more ppl and u can call for help and they can choose the man.. Its also more clean. They also get more Money and legal Money and they have an safety if they get sick. they also get safety for when they get old.
