I just thought maybe some nugu company was debuting yet another nugu group in the ever-growing sea of nugus in K-Pop, so I didn't really look into them further. Then today I see a thread with 'Day6 JYP new boygroup' in the title and I'm like ????. What? ANOTHER new boygroup? When GODS7 only debuted January 2014, that band 5Live or something debuted whenever earlier this year? When Twice have been announced to debut sometime later this year? When the other girl group will debut sometime next year? Has JYP somehow heard the K-Pop market is imploding and is rushing out groups like no tomorrow? Are they trying to prove some kind of point to YG who refuses to debut certain groups *cough*iKON/Pink Punk*cough* I just don't understand why JYP is doing this when their other groups, GOT7 especially, desperately need support. They have so much potential but they're heading towards become BTOB 2.0 with the way JYP is handling them. Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest. Rant over. And they have to release new groups since 2AM has already disbanded and 2PM will have to enter military soon. Theirs sales are really good, growing fandom, especially overseas, individuals recognitions, with Jackson and Junior. If anything they are doing great. Well, JYP and 2AM members are saying they haven't disbanded and are still open to promotions, but it's kind of like a Wonder Girls situation because Jo Kwon is the only one left in JYP. About the speed, I guess it's a bit worrying. I would actually prefer if they debut Day6 by September since they've already been training for so long. I love Twice, but I can wait until first half of 2016 for them to debut. They need time to prepare, and with TwiceTV and Twice's instagram and with their Sixteen exposure, I think JYP can afford to delay Twice's debut up until early 2016. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many SM idols wanting to leave despite having to go through lawsuits. SM's main problem is that they don't let their artists develop well individually with the exception of a few. If you compare 2pm and Suju, 2pm may be doing worse as a group, but they are doing much better individually. Individual success is important for idols as they get older. Do you really think they're not doing good? 5live = Day6 They're a band that performs in clubs predebut with covers and their self-composed songs, do you think Day6 and GOT7 are competition to each other?
