The racist and idiot Big Brother contestant finally gets kicked out aka eliminated forever

t's the episode of Big Brother we've been waiting for since those live feeds showed us the true colors of certain housemates. And the fact that we can say "controversial remarks" in the headline and be talking about more than one person says more than enough about season 15 of Big Brother.

Tonight, Aaryn Gries was the latest evictee, which meant she had to answer to host Julie Chen about her racial remarks heard on the live feed back in the beginning of July.

During the first few weeks of the season, Gries was overheard telling Asian contestant Helen Kim to "go make rice," and later quipped, "I probably look like a squinty Asian right now." Gries also said how "no one's going to vote for whoever that queer puts up" while addressing gay housemate Andy Herren. Basically, just a class act all around.

Tonight, Chen grilled Gries about those statements in the post-eviction interview, and her defense was iron tight. Just kidding, she blamed where she's from for her personality.

"Being southern, there is a stereotype. I was taken out of context," Aaryn insisted. "I did not mean to come out racist." So Chen decided to read back some of those "out of context" statements to Gries. The look on her face as Aaryn realized how truly horrifying she sounded was priceless.

"I do not remember saying those things," Aaryn semi-whined. The crowd actually laughed at her. Like, in a cruel, sarcastic manner. They weren't buying the innocent act one bit, either.

Finally, Aaryn went on to blame the state of Texas and her upbringing for her racist behavior, saying it was all a joke. The only downside to Chen's grilling was that she couldn't yet reveal to Aaryn that she was dropped by her modeling agency. Now that would've been delicious.

What did you think of tonight's eviction? Did Aaryn get what she deserved?

cr: E!

LMAO at her dumb defense

But despite this many idiots and racists in Big Brother you still watch it?

So are you enjoying it secretly?

Do you associate yourself with them secretly?

Do you envy them for having the courage to stand up for their stupidity?

lol one can simply say "im sorry for making statements like that. i will educate myself on stereotypes and being more tolerant of other cultures" and save a lot of grief. But I suppose if people like this were smart enough to make explanations like that, then they wouldn't be making racist statements in the first place.

I'm not defending her, but the way julie brought up those quotes and put her on the spot wasn't exactly cool and how she said "hopefully you reflect when you find out you got fired"

was kinda rude.

Usually they don't talk about issues such as racism during goodbye speechs so I thought it was out of place to suddenly bring up all that stuff.

she didn't say that. More over, Aaryn was making fun of blacks and asians less than 24 hours before she got evicted. Her disrespectful comments made it to lots of media outlets and got press attention. Therefore Julie had to talk about it.

Aaryn made her bed and now has to lie in it. She bullied people in the house and made insensitive racial jokes (behind their backs). If it was really okay and not racist as she claims, then why didn't she make those jokes in front of those minorities she made fun of? Julie's way of interviewing her was probably more tasteful than what Aaryn deserved for making such distasteful comments.

it was implied to the viewers

Multiple members were racist, and no one else has been blindsided by these types of questions.

It was unfair to her and bias.

I watched it myself. Julie said she hoped Aaryn would get a new perspective. Nothing about that statement implies she got fired  :wth:

well the other people who made racist comments didn't get eliminated yet and they didn't get as much press attention either. Thousands of fans pressed CBS to address the comments and they did.

Don't agree with it? Too bad. This would have never happened had she never made the comments in the first place. She knew she was coming on a tv show. There is nothing unfair about it. When a person creates a huge shitstorm in the press for these types of comments, you best believe its gonna be addressed on the show. Especially when the host is asian and people of her heritage were disrespected.

Kaitlyn said like the n word like once by mistake as far as i know.  But as i have said once before, Aaryn got the most press attention and is undoubtly the worst as she spews forth ignorance everyday. They needed to make an example out of her for future houseguests.

tried to watch this season...to see her get kicked out... but couldn't make it through more than 3 episodes (after all the racism was reported) ... not just because the show is boring (and always has been) ... but because... sometimes... stupid is just stupid. These people are all just stupid.
