For those of you out of the loop, the V app, created by naver, is a kpop broadcasting app that will feature app exclusive live broadcasts from the idols in the line up:

https://campaign.naver.com/v/lineup/

The app has just been released today in the google play store and a few artists have already begun live broadcasting (Eric Nam and Winner)

A HUGE plus is that it's is easy to navigate and use and is in English for those who download from an international store.

I personally think this app is such a great idea and is definitely a good way to reach out to I-fans and K-fans at the same time. I completely recommend if your bias is in the line up, they've got some top groups so it should be fun. I hope it's a success.

(I'm low key promoting this shit because BTS is all up in it.)

Do you think this app will be a success?

btw, in the play store it's under the name V celeb broadcasting app. I also noticed a lot of previous naver videos for the participating groups are accessible through the app.

it's great  :ahmagah:

and easy to navigate~

I hope the BTS ones will have subs cause they are prerecorded (cause of their tour right now)

ikon, winner and eric nam were live on it already and it worked pretty smooth, it's more fun if the idol can speak english like eric nam cause they react to the comments real time and he understands them~

I love it so far. I hope it'll work out as a new great way for idols to communicate with their fans. It was so nice to see Jinwoo and Seungyoon on it.

I'm really excited to see more WINNER related stuff.

Does anyone know if there is going to be an iOS version?

I believe so! Allkpop said: "For those who have been asking: Yes, the app is free and is available for English-speaking users. Unfortunately, iOS/Apple users will have to wait few more days until the app is available on App Store. If you want to be one of the first ones to be notified when the app is available on iOS, go sign up for 'V's newsletter here!" (Sorry links removed, I'm on mobile)
