Is this true and is it an issue? For example, someone said something offensive to you personally by putting on that macho act, but they know that you can only defend youselves with words. Just take everything with a grain of salt and hopefully the people you're close to online are truly who they say they are. If something feels suspicious, call them out on it. Obviously it's not cool for people to lie but it's also up to people to choose who to put their trust in. You probably shouldn't fully trust someone until they've given you a solid reason to trust them, and you should always be at least a little skeptical when you're meeting random people on the internet. They act all badass and tough when they're behind a screen and it does make them feel accomplished when they win an internet argument. You see Taeyeon taking legal action against all the online haters and now they're making pathetic excuses it's pitiful to watch but that's probably the only way they'll learn.
