We had to put my dog to sleep last night

My condolences. That is so hard to come to terms with as it is losing family.

I lost a dog when I was a kid and a couple of years ago my "goddogter" had to be put to sleep because she was suffering from lymphoma. It's always very hard but you will recover and always love your departed pet.

When I came back from boarding school, my cat was gone. Apparently she died cuz a mad dog bit her. It felt weird. Like one moment she was there always following me around then next she was gone. It sinked in slowly after few weeks, she was really gone. I think of her once in a while now. She was the cutest and smartest cat I have ever known.

Oh, i´m really sorry for your loss.

I´ve had lost many dogs in the past. They died from different reasons but it never hurt any less. I´m not a religious person or spiritual but i always like to think that if angels do exist, they would be my little pure angels. It makes me feel better to think that way.

The pain will fade with the time, so cling to the beautiful memories and remember your dog with a smile.

I'm so sorry for your loss, losing pets--especially those who've been there a long time--is very hard. Even if you weren't consumed with them like 110% of the time, animals always leave this...emptiness. It's very strange. I lost a longtime pet just a few days ago, actually, and all I can tell you is to think of your pet not being sick anymore and hopefully feel better soon

I'm sorry for your loss. It's definitely not an easy thing to go through.

We had to get our Yellow Lab who was almost 14 years old put to sleep back in October and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do since we had her since I was 5 and we were really close. She had just gotten extremely sick one night so we took her to the emergency vet and when they did x-rays, they discovered she had a large tumor that had taken up most of her stomach as well as it began pushing her other organs out of place and it was starting to block off her lungs and airways. There wasn't anything they could do since she was so old and had lost a large amount of weight, so we decided getting her put to sleep was better so she wouldn't suffer. It's difficult, but it's kinder so they're not in pain anymore.

I coped by distracting myself with watching Infinite's concerts and variety shows since they're something that cheers me up, but sometimes I still break down and start crying when I think about my dog even though it's been almost a year because she was a huge part of my life and it still doesn't feel real that she's gone.
