But maybe I'm basing this off of trivial things. luhan can't do the same kind of traveling that kris can because of his airplane fear. he takes more ~local~ activities. but he has like three movies lined up and a shit load of endorsements so he's not exactly hurting? Kris is more popular than Luhan in China, at least on weibo. My mum updates me with what Kris is doing every few days and she only use weibo. Kris looks really fit of an actor and he seems really well like by people in the industry (like from fellow actors, producers etc) cuz he is socialize and well spoken, and get lots of media coverage. Kris is overall more trendy than Luhan right now. Luhan is more popular in EXO becuz his image really fit to be an idol (he is so perfect for it), but right now both of them working to be an actor. Or that is what it looks like to us, with him meeting those famous people and all that. At the same time he is trendy. So it seems as though he is more famous. WYF is probably more well-known because he is doing a lot of things, whereas other than 20 Once Again I feel like Luhan hasn't done much yet. Plus WYF somehow is involved with Tiny Times and all now, so he's gone to the, er, trendy side. Luhan needs to start getting more roles from popular dramas or he's going to be stuck doing Chinese-Korean dramas/movies, and will never get, say, a Tangren drama role. Idk how to explain it but WYF is doing better atm. Luhan is has a bigger fanbase and have more casual fans though. I feel like WYF is well-known but not necessarily as popular as Luhan. Plus, Lu is known to be a very lowkey/modest celebrity (as many others have commented on) so its no surprise you don't hear about him 24/7. But in case you're interested, he's acting in a Hollywood movie directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Matt Damon. To me Kris comes off as more ambitious, whereas Luhan works at a pace he's most comfortable with, not to mention Lu's also restricted by his acrophobia. But still, luhan's fanbase is out of reach. It used to be... Kris' fanbase grew exponentially bigger since he left though. So they're about equal now, if we're gonna base it on buying power, that is. Although, if you add international fans, Luhan still has a bunch of his Korean fans and he also has a rather decent following in Japan so he probably has a bigger international fanbase than Kris does now.
