MoreTokyo 1,008 Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Had a feeling that Mademoiselle Yulia was going to be releasing Harajuku Wander soon because she's been teasing and releasing a few images from the set on her instagram. Quite happy to see that Mademoiselle Yulia is releasing music again because it has been much too long since the release of Mademoworld. Harajuku Wander is a solid follow up because it showcases her signature sound but adds in a few tricks. It's definitely amongst the more memorable records that I've come across this year because of the treatment on her vocal work. The different pitches, rhythm, and her faux rapping are going to make this a notable release. Visually reminds me a bit of Magic Color by Amiaya. Whateva Harajuku is being released on my birthday! I'm going to assume that they were both filmed at the same venue because they both feature a similar color/lighting pattern alongside the tank. I'll definitely be looking out for Whatever Harajuku's full release From Mademoworld my ultimate faves are WAO and Gimme Gimme so imo I might like this album better.
