They aren't friends with you on Facebook and don't follow on Twitter but just lurk and read things. Like not just Facebook or Twitter either, but forums and stuff as well. Places where they aren't a member or they only go there to watch you. And they Google you and sniff around constantly. How would you feel if someone did that to you? I ended up deleting pretty much all my social media accounts and making new ones under different names/users. Yet I would ask y the person do it. But if its stalk on Twitter or where I can't see that the person even do stalk, I can't or wouldn't even know. And that is why I am wary of online friends and still haven't shared a lot of my social media accounts. Some online stalkers take it to a whole new level and try to track you down IRL. Only have an abandoned Myspace and a Live Journal account (which I also never post in), and I doubt they'd be able to trace the account on this site back to me. If they Googled my name they'd only be pulling up my barely used Facebook, and some super old posts I've made around the internet. Now pulling up my name on one of those sites where you can get someone's personal information, and then them coming to my house or calling me would be creepy.
