dj_scox 1,621 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) It might seem a bit cynical to say this but it's my honest opinion: i think she was accepted into DSP pretty much for her visuals, and DSP was spending that time training her from the ground-up in all-around skills - which is why she's not a particularly strong singer or dancer, and we haven't seen her acting skills yet, but every group needs that visual and sometimes in idol k-pop the visual is everything and skills just need to be basic. Edit: oh yes and that explains, for me at least, why she wasn't in Baby Kara. 1) Kara already has a visual and needs a replacement rapper. 2) She was probably not good enough in her basic skills yet. Here's my cent to the Hyunjoo-Baby Kara theory: I believe that she could not be in Baby Kara Project because as we know Baby Kara aired in May 27, 2014. However, the rumors for the Baby Kara Project or atleast what they netizens think that a "new DSP girlgroup that will replace Kara" kind-of-rumor started around March which DSP has start posting the Baby Kara girls, which ultimately was a plan for lineup changes for the departure of Nicole and Jiyoung. Also Hyunjoo stated that in the Music Access of Arirang that she auditioned last year when she was 16 where the agency was scouting schools for audition. Baby Kara Project may have started recording around late of April hence, the selection of the lineup may have started either in February or early March, or another theory would be that in episode 1 of Baby Kara Project was the the actual interview/selection of the girls which leads to the acceptance of all the girls that were there in that waiting room, no Lee Hyunjoo was present at that waiting room. Thus the alleged theory of Hyunjoo supposedly being in Baby Kara Project would not be feasible as she'd be barely be at the age of 16 at that time when DSP/MBC has the lineup for the Baby Kara Project. Hence, the high chance that Hyunjoo never had the opportunity to be in Baby Kara Project as she had never auditioned before the lineup has been set. This actually leads me to believe that the alleged Hyunjoo shot from Baby Kara Project Episode 2, mission 2 ("Rock U" performance) where they went to Yoon Ji's school which apparently is also Hyunjoo's current highschool; it is the famous Seoul School of Performing Arts (ì„œìš¸ê³µì—°ì˜ˆìˆ ê³ ë“±í•™êµ), may be true. (Call me crazy or hopeful) Due to the popularity of that school to produce kpop idols for almost half a decade, naturally agencies will host an on-site audition, and as strategic it can be, when would be the better way to held an on-site audition if not DSP and MBC went to the school itself? Conclusion: Hyunjoo was not a part of Baby Kara because Hyunjoo was not a trainee when Kara Project lineup was finalized. However, it may have gave Hyunjoo the opportunity that made her to be a member of April. Also, if the alleged shot of Hyunjoo in episode 2 is true, then she made a cameo ^_^ So what are your thoughts? You need to find the mp4 file of that stream. Luckily, with that website, it is easily obtainable; as you can just right-click on the video in (https://streamable.com/evkl) and copy the video address. The video address is the mp4 extension file. Adding a mp4 here in OH would require you to insert the URL/Filepath to a tag webm. It should look like this: Using the webm tag will automatically play the video without sound; once so, you would need to indicate to the readers that they'd need to change the volume in order to hear the sound of the video.
