If North Korea become free- Should Korea be unified?

SK wouldn't be able to handle it. But if Germany could rise back to power after WW2 was over while being an independence nation, maybe NK would be able to as well. They'll prolly just need lots of help from other nations. I just think that joining SK again would be a huge difference and maybe not necessary.

Whatever both of them decide is best, I guess.

However, I would feel extremely bad for North Koreans. I have a feeling they would be discriminated so much by South Koreans and they would be treated as second-class citizens. In that aspect, I would be apprehensive about both Koreas reuniting.

not even talking about money but don't u think Korean are behind enough as it is? There  catching up  fast but them merging with north korea would making them fall back 50 year in culture advancement and become just a bigger shithole.

Uh I didn't think South Korea was behind at all. Some technology things they actually have better than western countries...Though North Korea is extremely extremely behind

East Germany was nowhere near as bad off as North Korea.
