Wondering about Tao

I have made peace with the complete disappearance of my upvotes, but I have a bit of a timeline in my head and all of a sudden a pattern appeared. This is about Tao's exit from EXO and possible reason.

 

I think Tao is dealing with a very serious illness.

 

Let’s go under a few assumptions and facts. After, let’s look at a timeline.

 

Assumptions: – a fairly universal assumption that Tao was happy being in EXO and was the last person everyone thought would leave.

Fact: both Tao and SM have said nothing about this at all. SM has been patient all along and wants to talk about Tao's 'future' and has said sever times that he is still in EXO.

Fact: No talk at all about lawsuits.

 

Here is a timeline, a few of which make me ill with fear.

 

12/25/2014 – Tao says he won’t be able to continue the flip because of his body and he starts falling at almost every performance.  He's freaking 22.

3/2/2015 – Rumor that Tao is leaving. That has been rumored 4 times in less than a year.

3/4 - Tao records official CMB even though he is injured. I don't think he was.

3/7-3/15 – Exo'luxion in Seoul. All the members sobbing onstage including those who never cry. Including Tao who sobs about loving what he is doing.  He states that EXO would be fine without him.

3/16 - Tao posts about how he love the fans.

3/17 – Kwon Jun posts that it is time to make memories

3/26 – Tao and Sehun go to Everland even though he is injured – I've doubted the injury all along.

4/6 – Interview, Suho wants to heal Tao’s mind.

4/9 – Tao goes to China with no limp and stays till 5/7.

4/18 – Lay and Sehun encourage fans to wait for Tao – the members still want him back and give their love.  They don't think he is a betrayer.

4/22-4/23 – Tao’s Dad… wants Tao home

5/2 – Tao’s birthday where he’s very upset watching his EXO history

5/7 - Tao goes to the US with his mother, who stays for months. It is strange in my opinion that his mother would go and stay the whole time. For weeks there he appears to do nothing, but wears the EXO bracelet the whole time..whatever you think of the bracelet, he said it was for EXO. He hopes to come back.

 

 

Exo’luxion performances – Sehun is VERY VERY upset at every performance..with 2 exceptions, Bangkok and Osaka, during which he is downright giddy.

My observation through the internet, the members have been seen crying over and over at almost every airport and OTW photos.  April 20 they are even holding each other up.

 

7/16 and 7/17 are scary to me. Sehun is VERY VERY upset and looks like he won't make it.

 

Why did he not come back and then start doing things outside EXO like Kris and Luhan? – Maybe he needs to work, stay busy. Also, my thoughts are that he got so much hate maybe he thinks he can’t come back.

But what exactly makes you think he's seriously ill, as opposed to just leaving the group cause of family/injury/whatever? I fail to see how your observations lead to that particular conclusion...

He was literally injured while on broadcast, the torn ligament was a thing and yes, most people can walk normally enough on it after a short time it's just that they can't dance or anything.  At the Exolution concerts his movements on that leg were really really stiff and awkward.  How can you say that the injury didn't exist??

 

As far as the "exo will be fine without me" thing, it was already rumored at that time that he was being "dungeoned" up to being excluded from the Tokyo Dome tour, so idk I feel it was more that he knew he couldn't participate in any concerts that year.

 

As far as his mind goes, eh it's like that with him, and him freaking out about the flip was also a physical injury/just not being in a good place mentally rather than illness afaik.

 

He did have some kind of bronchitis back in December for almost 2 months and had to go to a military hospital for it but that isn't  thaaaat serious.

 

He appeared to be doing nothing for months?? Yet we have one music video and apparently another one and a short film on the way, so he was doing stuff.

He honestly looks healthy as a horse to me right now, except some jet lag lol.  He doesn't really seem to have a serious illness.  

 

If the other members look stressed out, maybe it's because they just got off a plane and are having cameras shoved in their faces.   

 

This type of post is REACHING and really just makes his fans look bad.

 

 

We can speculate and speculate as to why he left, but at the end of the day it is enough to say that he was justified because he got 2 lines per song yet was capable of this:

Why are fans making this out to be more than what it is? No offense (really), but everyone who has left all seem to leave because they weren't treated fairly in terms of their solo careers. The only difference with Tao is that he had a physical injury to go along with the business reasons. Exo-L should just accept two the reality that:

 

1.) The financial and promotional backing (or lack thereof) for EXO-M was different than with EXO-K, causing some members to have their career growth pushed to the backburner.

 

And 2.) it's not a huge surprise that the Chinese members would leave.

 

Look at it this way: if I'm working overtime without proper payment or chance of a promotion, why would I stay at the job when another place is hiring me for more pay, more recognition, and better benefits PLUS my work times are practical?

 

Tao didn't solely leave exo because of an injured foot. Just as Luhan didn't just leave because SM had him fly back and forth on a plane. Just as Kris didn't leave for fan-speculated heart problems or because "he missed his family". These things are a snowball effect of what they were promised at debut and never received (and Tao's father mentions this in the letter that y'all half-read.)

He may have gotten pulled out by his dad but I really doubt he wants to go back.  Like I think his dad successfully persuaded him.

But it is irritating for people to just assume his dad didn't have a heavy hand in that decision, they have literally no reason to think that.  Still it doesn't matter, if he wanted to leave by himself he was still totally justified.

ms Elaine, you said once your son is about Tao's age.  Did your son ever faked an injury and tricked you and all the others? did he go to an hospital, "bribe" a doctor to put an ankle foot orthoses?  how can you say he wasn't injured? have you seen the VCR from Exoluxion? he coudn't walk back than, he uses crutches (he's the only one who's sitting in the VCR and you can see his foot). After more than two months he was able to walk without feeling discomfort. This doesn't mean he was able to dance as well. Do you have any idea which is the recovery time for a torn ligament?
