Wonpil debuted in a JYP band called "DAY6". Day6, previously called 5live, had an OST in 2013 for Jang Geunsuk and IU's drama Pretty Man, the song was titled "Lovely Girl". Also, along with GOT7, they appeared on YG's survival show WIN and they battled with YG trainees. In 2015, they soon created buzz again as they all created Instagram accounts and that marked the hype for 5live/Day6. And in September 7, they dropped their debut MV, Congratulations.
