On Wednesday, Warner Bros. announced a new partnership with LeBron James, "an unprecedented agreement spanning all areas of content creation" that includes plans for "television, film and original digital content." As those of you who've already seen ​Trainwreck ​know, LeBron is actually hilarious, a fact that led some to begin speculating that the time for ​Space Jam 2 ​was now. "I've always loved movies," LeBron said in the press release. "I can't wait to see what we come up with." Right, right — neither can we. But on to the ​Space Jam ​part of this. As noted by an editor at ​Capital New York​, Warner Bros. filed new trademarks for ​Space Jam ​in June. The trademarks are for merchandise, but still, what a fun coincidence, eh? And Deadline reported last February that a LeBron-starring ​Space Jam ​was in the works, which LeBron quickly denied, but he has in the past said that he wishes he could do ​Space Jam 2​. Now's your chance, LeBron! I only ask that you please let have Riley Curry have a cameo.
