Rumors, rumors everywhere as one person said before lol.

 

If someone did get injured, regardless if they are suppose to be part of this group or not, I wish them a speedy recovery because that's gotta suck.

 

Now if by chance this info is/was legit and their debut was postponed because of the injury, maybe it'll be a late or mid May debut, rather than the estimated late April debut

^ I remember seeing some of the Japanese news sources for Kpop tweet about that girl, but IDk if they assumed that she was a JYP trainee or if the person who made the Instiz post said mistook her for one or what.

Baek Ah Yeon is nice and all but I'm personally not a big fan (lol sry) so I would prefer a rookie group with real rookie members, all new.

A Good Boy was a cute track for her, but I think she's more suited for the ballad type music, so I can't really imagine her being in a group

I know all the lineups are rumors at the moment, but I'm kind of surprised. For me, JYPE has always been very "diverse" (for the lack of a better word) with the physical appearances of their artists in a group. Like while girls in T-ara poses more similarities to each other, Miss-A is a very diverse looking group; so is GOT7 and 2PM. So far, everyone in the rumored lineup have very similar looks no? So far the only person I can tell apart is Lena and that's because she's blonde. This isn't meant to disrespect anyone of course, all the girls are obviously pretty. Just an observation. 

I can see what you're saying. Other than maybe 3, I still can't tell the difference between the other rumored girls

They said that it's Cher who hurt her ankle ( don't know that it's true or not),but seem like many Chinese fans believe that Cher is a part of new group.

But anyways, since 2pm's promotions won't last long, I'm thinking there's still a good chance 6mix will make their debut in April. Maybe either early April because 2pm's is mid April.

^ 2PM already filmed their mv, their comeback might be next.

but I heard their promotion period only two weeks due to taec's drama & jun.k solo debut in Japan.

Yeah 2pm's comeback is scheduled for Mid April. that said, they could still stick to the plan of debuting in April if they want.

IDK, even though GOT7's didn't have much hype prior to their debut, JYPE is actually done a decent job getting promotion during this time. They've been on shows, have had photoshoots, cf deals, appearances. On one hand, maybe they are actually trying to make improvements. On the other hand though, it seems like they've  put more effort into their male groups/artists than their female ones. I'm hoping to see some of this decent promotion carry onto the girl group.

Not true.. if you are referring to Miss A than thats a different case.. because they were co-managed with AQE which is why JYP didnt promote them as much (hopefully now they will) ~~ but look at Wonder Girls.. they were queens before setting their sights to the US

Wonder Girls previous status is a different situation because the management and promotion of the company overall has taken a downturn since like 2010. While 15& did get pretty decent promotions last year (they got to take part in a few events and appearances), it seems like them and Baek Ah Yeon  don't get as much effort put into them compared to the male acts arguably, but then maybe it's because the company doesn't really treat them like "idols" as much as they do the other acts. AQE, while those particular people in that sublabel did make certain decisions and handled certain aspects, technically they were still part of the JYPE staff. 

 

But that's just my theory and like I said, giving how things are generally overall so far, maybe they are beginning to make changes overall.

Is it bad that I wanna 'stan SM, YG and JYP upcoming girl groups at the same time....I'm not much of a hater so as long as the music is good, then I dont care which agency puts it out.

Nope, that's not a bad thing at all. I'm actually looking forward to all 3 of the girl groups plus that Woolim girl group as well.

I'm actually getting interested in Key East's new girl group as well as the big 3..

 

 

I see a lot of hate on the forums and I was wondering why people do that....The music is what should matter the most, not some silly fanboy/girl rivalry.

Ohh I'll look forward to them as well. I'm a sucker for girl groups lol.

 

 

But for me, there's only a few groups I follow very closely, but other than that, if I like the music, I'll keep up with their releases. I'm not huge into rivalry and what not. personally.

Well, it's more like they aren't really as forced into it as much as some companies do according to JYP himself at least, even if they like to "claim" sometimes that their artists don't do it XD. Many of them have had little tweaks here and there, at least. It's not a big deal though.

Jun. K has had a few though and it's quite obvious. Other have had a few a changes (e.g Taecyeon's nose). Maybe it depends on the situation, IDK.

That what confuses me as well. I can kinda forsee it being sometime in May since 2pm's won't be until the mid towards the end of April, unless they want to go ahead and release teasers for the group real soon. Or, if by some chance, release them and debut them at the exact same time as 2pm's comeback :/

well, the user mentions that 2PM are not coming back in april when they actually are.

And secondly April 30 was never a set date. Instiz countdown just clocks the last the date of the month they are supposed to debut or comeback(if there is no set date). And that countdown is not official too just a fanmade one.

What are the chances of JYP debuting a new group within the next 2-3 years?

Unless they really are creating group tailored made for the countries/industries they want to branch out in (China, Japan), I don't think we'll be seeing new groups for quite a long time after 6mix and 5live finally debut.
