Another Shooter Opens Fire at a Movie Theatre in America

An individual opened fire at a Louisiana movie theater Thursday night leaving multiple people injured, local authorities said.

Multiple reports indicated that at least two were dead, including the gunman.

 

 

First responders could be seen taking individuals from the scene out on stretchers.

 

According to The Advertiser, citing a city official, six were injured and the shooter was killed.

 

Gov. Bobby Jindal said in a tweet that he was in communication with law enforcement about the incident. In a follow-up tweet, he added he was headed to the scene.

Witness Katie Domingue said she was with her fiancé at a 7 p.m. showing of “Train Wreck†when she heard a noise.

“We heard a loud pop we thought was a firecracker,†she told The Advertiser, identifying the shooter as “an older white male.â€

“He wasn’t saying anything. I didn’t hear anybody screaming either,†Domingue said.

Here we go again, the great debate about gun control that will eventually come to nothing cause we here in 'Murica don't think we can have freedom to bare arms if we aren't allowed to buy a gun whenever and bring it to McDonald's. 

On another note... I'm not even sure what to say about the actual shooting. =\ Like i'm not shocked, but it's sad. Ugh...

honestly, something needs to be done about gun control. banning guns will obviously never work, but setting stronger background checks sounds like a good idea bc it'll deter those who dont have the means to get them illegally. 

 

im just tired of worrying about my safety while im out in public. idk what the stats indicate, but all this constant talk of mass murder sprees has me concerned and slightly paranoid when out in public.
