Just let everything in the past be gone with the wind, let those memories fall to the ground and become mud.
Quietly, softly, it starts drizzling once again in my world.
You don't need to say too much; [you] will likewise come to possess a different realm [of your own].
I can slowly forget you.

can never erase the traces left behind by you whom [i've] loved deeply.
Leaving after waving [to the other person]—perhaps [this] is [our] ending.
Don't foolishly remain in the same place anymore.

Thanks for the translation. I watched her live version and fell in love with the song.  :smile:

You're welcome! I've loved her voice since seeing her on the third season of The Voice of China.

She was the winner of that season right? I remember my friend showing me her live performance and she was singing "My Destiny." She is indeed talented. (Not to mention she's pretty too.)  :smile:

Yes she was the winner. I prefer richer/heavier(?) voices that more solidly hit the lower notes in a song to the light high voices that, sometimes have a very underdeveloped lower register, which seem to be prevalent among girls (even guys) in the East Asian music scene. Richer voices and audible low notes make my ears happy so she caught my eye (well, ear) right away when she auditioned with JJ Lin's "She says".

I think "rich" is a good way to describe her voice. I've just watched her performance with Ali when she was still in S.Korea and her voice gave off a Celine Dion's (?) vibe.

Ah, to be honest, I don't like her performances from her days in SK that much. >__< Not sure if it's the language or if she's changed the way she sings since then but she was very nasal in those Korean songs, so personally I prefer what I've heard of her singing in Mandarin. Though I definitely get what you're saying about the Celine Dion vibe, since Celine's nasality is well-known and a defining quality of her singing. I know some like it but it's not my cup of tea. ;;

You were right, she sounds different when singing Chinese songs.

I guess she tried to alter her voice a little bit to make it similar to the way Ali was singing. :ninja:

I also prefer her voice right now then before. I especially like how she was singing in this fancam.

For a moment I thought we were chatting in my translation thread for this very song. :lol: She has done some nice drama/movie theme songs since her time on The Voice of China. I admit to not following any of the contestants closely after the show, so it's always pleasant to stumble upon their own work.
