Girls' Generation and BIGBANG.

 

GG claims dominance over this generation now, tomorrow, and forever

 

BIGBANG's name promises they'll explode and make a huge impact on culture and the music scene.

 

I bet if we dig hard enough we'll find ancient prophecies of their takeover on stone tablets from 5000 years ago

Yeah. Their names might be cheesy but they have a "destined for greatness" feel to it. Same thing with 2NE1, Wonder Girls, TVXQ/DBSK and Exo. For upcoming groups, Ikon's name gives a similar vibe. I hope YG wisens up and gets something like that for his girl group... I'm not really impressed with the current GG names.

Yeah but everyone calls them SNSD, not GG. SNSD is terrible. What does it stand it for? Nothing that a casual newbie would understand.

 

Big Bang gets crossed with the TV show on searches too much.

 

They are good, but they do have issues.

 

 

I think that Infinite is a great name. No limits placed, let's see where this goes.

 

Not a group, but I think Verbal Jint had the best name of any soloist.
