I just can't get over how hypocritical he was, being all upset and mad but then going ahead to essentially do the same thing, in a worse manner. Idk man...best of luck to him. Tao, I really wish someone real could talk with you right now. I understand you're hurt and probably thought your decision was sound when you made it, but really? You may have only meant to shade the company heads or whomever (which I highly believe he intended to shade the members too), but these lyrics are a slap to the members' faces when all they could do was hope for a smoother recovery for you and wait for your return. They knew you wanted to be back on stage performing, they mentioned several times for fans to be patient! As much as you may be livid, taking your anger out on people who actually cared for you is really low. Burning bridges is not the way to go. If you want to leave then leave; I would have been upset, but respected your decision. But now I can't even bring myself to support you because this is disrespectful and a mess. Decent music and great rapping. That's as much as I can compliment you on for this mini-album. He has the right to leave but lying that he'll be back or doing empty promises, that's not right at all. After calling Kris a traitor, look at the song he released... Sad. I know I'm gonna be hated for this but...I agree. Most of us don't know what went on off-stage/off-camera/off-radio when it came to EXO. Everything I've read, I have gotten through translations. It's the only way I can get K-News. I know that things can be lost in translation. Personally, I think that Tao is shading SM. Based on past patterns and the departure of Kris and Luhan from EXO, they don't treat their foreign artists very well. (According to Kris, racial discrimination is why he left, Luhan left primarily due to his health) Unless of course, the artist has been with the company a while. Tao missed out on important healing time for some of his injuries, and for injuries to the legs/knees/ankles timing is important. Especially when you want to "get back into the game" as it were. Okay, my rant is over. I can go on and on, but honestly, look at what is right in front of you. The only reason I will even be 'supporting' SM is because some of my favorite artists are signed with them. EXO included. Personally he can very well shade every members of Exo and I wouldn't have much of a problem since we don't know what came down between them. For all we know the other members, or at least some of them, could have very well been douches to him in some way. I don't know why so many believe that public displays of support mean much, they're all pretty much obligated to support each other in public. You weren't there and you don't know how it is. Something that is well known though is that SM is a bad company and therefore he could have felt very unhappy there. When you are unhappy with things going on in your life, sometimes, even when you receive love, it may not feel like it. So even if he was throwing shade towards the members, it may seem justified in his mind because what if even though love was sent to him, it wasn't always received. Look, I've been severely depressed and have experience with the kind of mindset that I speak of. Of course I'm not saying that what I say is all true but it's possible and we shouldn't attack Tao for something we have no ACTUAL involvement in because like I said, we weren't there. At the end of the day, are they going to continue to promote as a group forever? Probably not. Is it sad? Yes. Do I hate either now? No. I love both. The less drama there is the better EXO will be without it. If Tao is happy free and feels like expressing his former discontent: so be it. Plot Twist: EXO could release a song shading all former members. An eye for an eye?
