toshi 1,466 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 Hey, so I might be lucky enough to get a job soon, In the gym I go to they're taking on and due to becoming good friends with one of the gym instructors he is putting in a good word for me and speaking to the manager. I'm super grateful as I've been looking for a job for so long and haven't got one yet. I just feel like I need to prepare, but I don't know what to do. The job is basically being on reception which would mean checking and booking people on classes and answering phone calls etc. Its amazing that he is helping me out with this, but I hate that these decisions are made by other people and I can't take control over the situation. Anyone got any advice for me in this situation, he is speaking to the manager tomorrow morning so I should know tomorrow evening when I go to see him. Good luck As far as reception goes, no way to prepare really.
