hm, seems like they've logged in within the past week, so i can't transfer it just yet, but i'll PM them and see if they respond.

If a user is still active on the forum and someone else has requested for the OP to be changed, the user has one week to respond to the other user before a Moderator steps in. A Moderator will then PM the OP about the request to receive an answer. If the user is active yet unresponsive, their silence will result in the OP being handed over to someone else.

the translation team is (essentially) defunct at the moment, so we haven’t had any real updates or projects in that section since the OH reboot back in september.  as for weird symbols, along with the server upgrade came broken characters wherever a lot of korean/chinese/japanese or even pictograph symbols once were.  they just haven’t been edited.

the only person who would be able to do either of those things (fulfill requests and fix translations) is our translations coordinator, who hasn’t been online since october.  maybe in the future we’ll seek out new recruits/work on revamping old posts, but for now it’s not really an option.

as far as i know, there are subtle changes in text color and display, but night vision was still too bright for most users.  that’s why we introduced ultra night vision, which is way darker and more preferred by dark mode users

generally we only remove threads if all they’re doing is bringing twt fanwars over to OH...if it’s just about twt trends or a fandom joke, i wouldn’t see that as breaking any rules ^^

largely because those sections are there for chat and game threads, and therefore counting posts would massively spam post counts.  it also encourages users to post in sections directly related to asian entertainment.
