Secondly, anyone else have a different take to XIA Fan on this issue?   I am particularly keen to hear from sad (since he was the OP of that H8 thread), to see if his perspective has changed now that he is a mod.  But I'm also curious as to the other mods' stand on the issue.

 

 

Thirdly, is there a limit to the number of times a user can be banned, yet allowed to create a new account and continue his trolling ways?

Shouldn't there be a "3-strikes-and-you're-out" rule?

Otherwise, getting banned becomes less onerous than getting posting rights suspended.  Which is not right.

 

My stance on the issue of full transparency is still the same as it was on H8, which was a no. I definitely would not support such a proposal at all, as implementing that proposal will cause more harm to users rather than benefit them. If you guys want to share with one another how many warning points you have or for what you got a warning point, you are more than free to do so amongst yourselves. However we won't be showing you guys each others warning points or our warning logs, as that is a breach to a users privacy, something we do not approve of. 

 

I'm pretty sure sx21 and the other staff members answer would be a no to this proposal.

but I went to this site couples of times. may I ask what happend to search box in the right corner of the page??? I 'm only interest in super junior and what related to them in this forums so I was always used that to knew every post about them

A glitch probably made it disappear. Once a tech admin is on I'll ask them to take a look at it.

That feature is linked to our search bar which has been currently disabled. So once the search bar is up, Content I Follow + My Content should be back too.

If it's your own post or thread, then yes it is possible. If it's someone elses, you could try reporting it stating what is wrong with the comment/thread and we'll look into it.

Report the post or PM the post's link to one of the staff members and we'll do it for you.

 

How many won per post do I get?

 

If varies from section to section.

Music section + artist thread posts get you around 100 won per post (highest amount possible) and random section gets you around 15 won I think.

Can the mods clean this mess in this thread? You don't want us to post the same images all over again yet 1/2 of this thread are posts without suggestions. I'm sure this thread will reach 20 pages in the future so we must go through all this?

I can't seem to see the issue in the thread to be honest. Most of the non suggestion posts are asking questions about what is allowed, what isn't and the voting process and what not, along with the answers to them. To me the posts look fine to be honest.

Why I can't see the menber or guests..I can't see the search bar neither.

 

We disabled the features for now as they were causing the forum to lag. The tech admins are currently looking at it and we'll hopefully have those features up and running soon!

Were you guys originally mods on Hallyu8 or did you become mods/admins upon transitioning to OneHallyu?

 

Me, Momo and sx21 were mods on H8, whilst Shik was our tech admin.

Shik is the founder of OH, whilst sx and I were promoted to admin. Momo being the new head moderator.

sadface and xiafan were new additions to our moderating team once OH opened up.

s4a and thatsoosoo were added soon as our tech admins.

 

Marvin and Ringo were mods on H8 and were mods here too however they retired a few days ago.

If you log in? Well if the user gave you permission to log in then it's fine. If you log in by actually hacking their password then yes it is against the rules.

You' can't delete it but you can request for it to be banned. We only delete accounts for certain cases only.

Under Icon - Counts posts from all sections excluding the Random section and it's subforum

Active Posts - Counts ALL section posts.

Question for the admin who likes green tea with honey and lemon.

These photos would be against rules and can't be chosen as badges, right? As much as I love them and as pretty as they are, you can't really see their whole faces. Especially the first two ones.

 

 

First one would be against the rules cause I wouldn't be able to tell that's Jessica at a first glance. The 2 Taeyeon one's are kind of okay? I think most could tell it's Taeyeon, but it probably would be preferable if her face was facing the camera a bit more.

my marketplace 4minute fanstick is before my Sistar fanstick and i was wondering if mods could change it up (sorry its bothering me), I tried deleting everything and starting over but it keeps going infront

 

That can't be done sadly as the marketplace items tend to be placed alphabetically when bought, hence the 4minute lightstick appears the SISTAR one.

I think this is my third time voting for a comment today but I just can't vote; tried refreshing the page, pressed both ups and downs still can't do any.

Can you try screencapping what you see when you try to upvote or downvote and then post it in the Ask A Tech Admin thread, describing the issue? I'm sure they can take a look at it and tell you what the issue seems to be.
