THIS SONG IS FUCKING GOOD

 

 

but they're so extra with the provocative stuff. Like, their dance itself is nothing new, but those outfits with the visible black panties were a bit much. and all the vag symbolism made me uncomfortable. Idk, they're getting attention, but their music isn't selling well, so this whole thing is backfiring on them. They could be like EXID if they cleaned it up just a little and more tactfully did their sexual symbolism, even though their name is already tainted for most people because of Marionette. It just makes me angry that this is the only thing they can do to get people to give them a second glance...

It seems like your not getting what the op is saying. It's that because their sexy concept is so bold that they aren't going to gain a fanbase or do well digitally because of their concept. Stellar isn't going nowhere no matter how sexy their music video is.

I agree, I feel like if they would have turned it down like they did with Mask the song may have charted in the top 50 since the song is really good. No matter how much skin they show Stellar as a group won't being going anywhere. The girls won't be able to gain a fanbase with such a bold concept and with that their song probably won't even get into the top 100. Their company really need to realize this tbh.

I'm not so sure about them being more successful just for toning down their concept, I mean there are other groups with good songs (who aren't doing the same concept of Stellar) in the same situation so I don't think is down to the concept.

 

Maybe I'm the weird one but I like this MV, I think it's unique and different and I understand it makes some people feel uncomfortable but I also see that as something positive since it leaves a strong impression in the viewer. That's why I think it's well done and of course the song is great as well.

The toned it down with Mask and Fool and a lot of good that did them.

No one paid attention to them at least with these type of comeback they are getting press 

Which for them is probably better than being ignored. 

 

They have pretty good songs and I wish they could somehow breakthrough but I think with this type of releases they are at least guaranteeing that they will be invited to university festivals which brings in some money too. 

Since the fangirls aren't going to come over to their side, they have to please the fanboys. Nothing wrong with that.

They cater to their specific audience.

I doubt people care as much about their concept as others say because the public doesn't even know they exist. It's luck of the draw or star quality + strong promotion and Stellar possess neither but that doesn't mean their music hasn't been shitting on all of these other girl groups.

i honestly don't know they had another comeback after marionette. So got to say this kind of concept is good, because it actually gave stellar some attention. Tame down and they got forgotten. The only way for them as of now, werk this concept hard. Get some recognition,then maybe they can move on from those choreos.

They aren't getting popular at all though. They're getting negative attention from Korea and gaining a few i-fans, but their actual music isn't selling at all. A song like vibrato should be charting well, but it's nowhere to be found on any charts. That was my point.

i don't think you get my point. THEIR MUSIC ISN'T SELLING. THEY AREN'T MAKING MONEY. Who gives a damn if they have attention when they have no fanbase and all their chump change is going to the company because of production cost and their traniee debt?

They will be invited to University festivals

They have been going to some variety shows 

They will probably sell something even if they don't chart. I believe fool had about 12K DL this will probably do better. 

 

They are making better than what they did before and that is probably the point some people are trying to make. 

People don't need to chart to make money.

tbh, digital sales if not superior usually close to nothing

i calculated before that with 400k download, each of RV member will get like 2000~3000$ each, which is even below Korean average monthly salary
