Have you ever studied abroad before?

Or are you currently studying abroad?

How was your experience?

----------------------------

I'm asking this because I'm applying to study abroad in Japan during the summer next year.

(I was planning on going a full year, but then I talked to the guidance counselor, and he said that I would probably have to repeat a full year of high school back at home and take extra classes in place of electives when I get back  :rlytearpls: )

It seems really fun, and others have told me that I should really go with my plans.

I am currently studying abroad and it is very much fun!

You get to learn and enjoy a new culture, grow as an individual, learn how to become more independent as well as learn about yourself. You'll get to explore more of the world and make new friends which may have very different ideas and views from you That's what makes it so interesting tbh

No, but I have always wanted to, for the longest time I wanted to go to the UK for school and even had a certain school picked out and was ready to go but certain things happen and never got to do it, sadly.

But I highly recommend to do it, you learn a lot of things and it would be a fun experience and it looks good for looking for jobs in the future.

Yes and it was great

I did 3 months by the end of my junior year. Taking a full year is too risky. People I know who did it is because they don't care or skip at least a year when they were younger.

I plan to study abroad in the south of France for a year

where to?

Yes, I went to Italy. I loved it even though it was expensive 4,000 dollars for 6 credits and I brought with me 1500 euros and came back with 150 euros.

It was fun, I spent most of time in a town in Calabria while the other places we went for vacation/learning experiences like Matera, Rome and Puglia. It was worth it even if it was a lot of money for a month but if I hadn't go I would be graduating in 2016. Also my Italian improved, I don't speak it as much as before but I understand it more and write better in Italian.

I would love to go back for maybe a year if possible tbh, I just don't where to go for this.

I'm studying abroad right now. I already did my bachelor and im staying for my master. I didnt go as far as you, since I stayed in Europe, so the culture shock wasnt that great, but I got to learn 2 new languages and the experience is really good, I totally recomend it to you! It's hard some times but I think that I grew a lot and it opened my mind a lot too.

Ohh~~

Sounds like a very interesting plan  :ahmagah:

Anyway you'll enjoy Korea, I don't really love Ewha, but I think it's alright?

No I haven't, but it's something I desperately want to do. I'm aiming for a scholarship to go to either Japan/South Korea (I can't decide between the two lol) to study to get my degree and maybe another country to do my masters afterwards.
