This MV was fun and was full of Mino's personality and wit, and that's what I love most about it.

That was definitely the lowest budget MV from YG this year.

It looks like it was filmed on a stage while they were on tour.

(It's probably a set though.)

I guess it's appropriate considering he's a "rookie" and it wasn't a title or follow-up track, just kind of a bonus MV.

I liked the parts with the other members, Lydia, and the second unidentified female.

I agree that this is not like YG typical MV which is usually looks high budget, but this is so mino, with those dorky fun style. Also it looks like he and the boys seem enjoy and have a lot fun in the video, esp the dog dance, so epic LOL the mv is seriously addictive and there's always like something new you discovered when watching the video again and again

Seriously,if it was for any other artist from YG to come out with such an MV i'd be mad but for Mino it is somehow fitting?IDK the proper words to use but i feel like the song and what he wanted to show thru it wasn't anything else than what we got. It didn't seem like there were too many different scenes but i love that because it helped me focus on him.

It looks like he had lots of fun and the members aswell ^^ LOL i knew the move Taehyun did at the fansign will end up in the choreo/MV haha

 

I checked the charts for a few hours after the MV was released and the song went up to #54 on Melon but sadly,i didn't take any screencap ><

I AGREE!! This M/V WAS MINO in a nutshell any other MV version of this song would be un-authentic and unacceptable. Watch the M/V 5 more time and it will all look different to you. Also, try watching it drunk or tripped out on Mushrooms, Acid or Weed, should make more sense!!!

Dropping by to say I loved this MV.  It was fresh and energetic and FUN.  I've liked Winner's uber-luxed-out debut concept but gotta say, Winner being dorks is what makes them lovable and it was great to see Mino and the guys doing that in this vid.

Like this yo tbh i get dizzy after watched the mv for the first time LOL but i can't stop myself to watch it again and again, and the video seem cooler then before. So addictive and won't make you bored no matter how many times you see it.

The first time I heard Winner's album, I was amazed by some really good songs and underwhelmed by the rest. My favorite songs are Empty, Color Ring, Im Him, Love Is A Lie, Confession, and Different. Not surprisingly, Mino partook in the composing process of most of those songs. His versatile music style fits my taste like a glove, even the type of artists he listens to. I expect so much from him in the future. Mino is like a black hole, you can't help but get sucked into his world. I am glad I became a fan of his at this early stage of his career because its wonderful to witness his career success and skill growth.

 

Why did I call his music style versatile? Because when you listen to Different, Love Is A Lie and Its Him, the listening experience of each song is different. Its Him is a bubbly, mainstream hip hop song. Mino pours his hardcore, playful rapper attitude into the song. Different has all of the opposite qualities: it overwhelms you with introspect nostalgia. I must say Different struck me on a sentimental level. Its the sort of the gentle song you can relate to on a emotional level. I can put it on repeat when Im feeling calm or in a thoughtful daze. The fact that Mino composed it makes it all the more special to listen to. Meanwhile Love Is A lie is upbeat, 'you just had a break up and I want to forget all about it by partying because love is overrated' song. Would you think they were all composed by the same rookie underground rapper who previously only experimented with mixtapes? Not really. Not to mention his lyricism is exceptional. Mino is developing a caliber of skills that will allow him to release a solo album- and I hope- very soon. 

 

Its Him reached 500,000 views in a day. It seems like almost everyone loved the mv- Im surprised by the overwhelming support.
