Soo 557 Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 We supposedly "love" their culture/music yet we always disagree with their opinions (Lee Minho/Suzy) We probably seem nosey and all in their business They probably see us all as koreaboos When we get the chance to see their idols, we put them in danger/ people take things too far (rap monster). I can see exactly why they really don't like us too much. We put bangtan in danger when they're usually safe in Korea. Jimin and Jungkook wrote in the fancafe saying something about being homesick yesterday after the trb issue. It's really sad, we should try to connect with them, not disagree and call them rude all the time, because most of the time they live there and they know most of what we don't. Half the stuff we know we are quite late on. Please try to make a better relationship with the knetz, we are all a family. Please make a better name for international fans. If Koreans actually supported their own music industry, they wouldn't have to expand. Hallyu is the result of Korea having a crap music industry where nobody wanted to pay for music. Some ifan may complain about kfans talking shit about them but it's no different than what ifans have already said and done. (yep that first page ) International fans really shouldn't take to heart an actually very harmless "international cockroach" nickname when everyday I come on this forum because regardless, I still think it's awesome to interact with people from all over the world, and I'm subjected to things like "koreans are dumbasses" "natural xenophobics" "ALL racists and colorists" "ridiculous koreans" "regular korean people are ugly" "knetz opinions are irrelevant and stupid as hell but why isn't anyone translating knet comments about my faves" "korea is fucked up" "korean woman are only seen as baby carriers, cooks and booty answerers" etc (yes these are all actual comments that I've seen) I just think ifans and kfans all have their fair share of crazy, rude, and problematic people and I'm not judging the entire ifandom as disrespectful and offensive just because of these kinds of comments I see daily, and I don't think kfans/knetz should be judged that way either.
