I'm done watching the ep!! :D

 

Seunggi went to buy stuff at the mart and he thought of buying a wok cos he remembered how the fried rice was cooked and I think he wanted to try it out. The place they were staying at didn't have gas though and uses induction heat cooker.. Still, he bought one.. Fortunately he did cos Sugeun was looking for a pot but turns out there wasn't any! :D Talk about the Monk's instincts!

 

Seunggi cooked the ramen with his assistant Sugeun.. He's so good at chopping ingredients now!        He just sauteed the veggies and it looked great and simply cooked the ramen the normal way.. Hahaha when Hodong just dropped that block of spam in the pot though.. omg XD

 

Everyone ate happily and the hyungs cleaned up the dishes (not too sure about Eun Choding though.. XD) and that's how the 1st Ep of Homemade Meals by the Monk ends (and that there'll be no more next episodes.. lol)

LOL, SeungGi made the VJ panic by disappearing suddenly. And how he was struck, remembering they didn't use fire to cook at the hotel, aww.. he seemed very disappointed.

 

I want 2nd ep, on next trip hopefully XD

The recap is more detailed.  Sounds like they liked the episodes more this week. 

 

Love Chef Seunggi cooking.  I'm kind of surprised he cooked something so normal though.  I was kind of expecting weirdness.    The only weird thing was Hodong putting that huge spam chunk in it.   Seunggi is much better at cooking and chopping!  It's kind of funny though that you can totally tell he has a studious approach to cooking and is doing it exactly perfect.  His finger placement when chopping is on point.    I think his veggies are probably all perfectly one size.  He's very meticulous. 

 

And people were complaining about not seeing it.  I guess we spoke too soon.

I'm really crossing fingers for season 2. Please, this time we need a happy ending.

 

Ho Dong frustrated me, but he's at my father's age, and I see his struggle with tecknology and my struggke teaching him. Just hope he'll study more for -if there ever be- season 2.

 

I wrote a long rant in SeungGi's thread, but somehow, my msg wasn't sent.

 

It was super funny, everything was good, but the guy's wishes broke my heart (except Choding lol). Happiness is something that can be given, but hardly felt when the reason for sadness persists. It's true that people who smile a lot are the most in pain

SuGeun wishing to go back in time, well, he can't change that end (of his career then) but he can have a new beginning, hopefully, we'll see him regaining his throne as one of Korea's greatest gagman.

HoDong's wish is so sweet, exactly what every parent wishes for.

I didn't expect the staffs decide to end it just like that if they failed. I'm glad they're uncool about their ending promise.

 

SeungGi finally got the censored scene, our SeungGi is a good and innocent boy XD  He and SuGeun just curse continuously just to dare the staffs since it was ended they could say whatever they wanted.

 

And drunk JiWon habit is frustrating yet funny.

 

Choding stays choding til the very end LOL. SeungGi wish and his confession later made me feel sad.

Btw, NJttW will be airing on Channel M starting 10 Oct. The channel has better subtitle right? I hope someone will record it... but the view count won't be included then...

They should've given the members a second chance! Even PD Na admits that Hodong's challenge was unfair! Was he given a mission by CJ E&M to make sure members fail? LOL I mean.. those missions can be so absurd! That "Find the PD".. "Withdraw from ATM in 1 min" and that bluetooth mission! They could've at least turned on the speaker before hand.. Ugh.. I'm curious about Sugeun and DangDing missions! X_X

 

LOL the kind and good boy Seunggi finally went off on TV! Hahaha so funny to see him censored along with Sugeun and Hodong going with him.. hehehe and I'm surprised that Hodong doesn't swear.. But it makes sense too. He's this old fashioned guy who likes philosophic quotes and stuff.. 

 

And could it be that they ended up giving Jiwon his Lego House wish? hehehe Cos what's the point of buying it.. But it's so hilarious that everyone had all these solemn wishes.. full of thoughts and that it will clench your hearts.. then there's Eun Choding. Whining about his lego.. LOL

 

But there was this drunk Jiwon moment that touched me. When he was talking about Hodong. He was saying that Hodong hits people not with the intention of hurting them.. And it even seems like he's the biggest victim of getting hit in this trip.. My Papa Bear and Baby Bear feels. 

 

And drunk Hodong saying I Love You to Sugeun.. typical drunk act.. But it was still cute all the same.

 

And Sugeun forever the exhibitionist... hahahaha the editing is so funny with him walking around in different  clothes.. one was even an edit of "Careful".. after Hodong said that they should be careful cos the cams are still on.

 

And yes to Seunggi's other wish~! I wonder if they won the dragon balls... Would they've extended their stay in China to continue filming the show? hehehe

 

But his ultimate wish will really make you think.. He's always been mature with his thinking and he really matches Monk Xuanzang's characteristics.

The wish that Seunggi sent to the crew was to extend NJttW filming schedule, right? It would've been great if they really succeeded.. T_T I want more NJttW in my life. Time's running out! They better make more soon!

 

It was funny when Jiwon was trying to make a point that even if you're doing something you enjoy, you could still end up getting tired. Then he goes with an analogy that just like when he plays games. He enjoys it but he still gets tired in the end. Then Sugeun quips that he really is like a baby. XD

 

He is still Eun Choding through and through! I wonder why the staff decided to give him the "Crazy Guy" character this time. I do understand though that he was never fond of Eun Choding nickname lol... But he really does act like a kid.. It doesn't help that the Lego toy video clip shows that they are for Ages 12 and above... hahaha

So, the ending caption said they don't know what they're doing either LOL. But even in natural state, the boys are the best.

 

Considering the episodes are getting longer, it means it'll take people longer to finish the videos and increasing the view counts. Personal goal: I'm satisfied as long as each episode got 1M viewers

Oh, that's a new one. I only know this one JongMin fan (I see him on YT, tryp, and DM) who keep insisting that there was something lacking, it was better with 5 people, they should be one more person, something like that.

 

I was actually hoping kshowonline is using their own KShowNow subtitle (are they related?), apparently it's still using V-app subtitles XD

 

We are in withdrawal state where we'll be screaming for S2

Like... really??? I mean the reason that s3 is there is because the legacy that s1 left is too much that KBS couldn't just let it go! S3 fans complain that all we think is best is S1.. And I'm fine if you think S3 is the best, just don't say it on S1 vids, cos people in S1 vids obviously prefer S1! So don't go whining if ppl think otherwise!

 

I do know this other fan on youtube.. well more like a troll. Who's both a fan of jiwon and jongmin. And seriously.. that person is a headache even to all jiwon's fans! I remember when I made a simple translation of this unsubbed show, and she was like.. You already translated it, why didn't you sub it? Ugh.. some people. And then she'd go on 1n2d s1 comments and bash the other members and overpraise jiwon and jongmin.. And I'm like, sure you have biases. But tf are you bashing the other members for??

Even my friend who like 2D1N went to check that page and he got so annoyed with that user.

That user doesn't know how much backlash Jongmin got after her joined after his military service. There were petitions for him to be removed from the show. He was literally a dead wall when he joined. He may be funny now but he was never there in the golden era of OT6- Hodong Suguen Kim C Jiwon Mong and Seunggi.

People do not know anything while they run their mouth like there is no tomorrow.
