Ughh this episode!!! ;;___;;

 

• The case of the missing shoes has been solved. LOL Ironically, it was Jiwon who sparked the idea of hiding shoes to Hodong. hahaha poor eun choding.. Well he still got to eat Seunggi's left overs. :D
• Seunggi getting 100 yuan and the money dropping dramatically as it  reaches 2nd place with Sugeun (10yuan), Hodong (5yuan) and Jiwon (1yuan)..
• Hahaha PD Na brought Jiwon's scooter to him with a valet service fee of... what are the odds.. 1 yuan. Jiwon argued that he really parked his kickboard there. XD
• Sugeun's amazing haircut..
• Sugeun's speed quiz charade! Wahh... he's really the best! Even if he lost! No one in that team can beat Sugeun when it comes to acting in charades..
• Hodong messed up a lot in this 4th set.. My heart aches for him. T_T 
• He only had 1 minute to withdraw 300yuan in the ATM.. and he failed.. Well it can be difficult when you don't understand a thing..
• Jiwon succeeding with taking pics with 2 other people.. LOL the other person barely made a jump, but it was still a jump..
• Seunggi with his jump shot with  4 other people.. LOL more than 4 want to take pics with him.. Hahahahhaa it was so funny.
• OMG that game of Where's Waldo real life version... It was extremely difficult! How are they supposed to win that! That PD really blended well in the crowd. He would even tease Hodong when Hodong's not looking. LOL
• Aww the 19th ep though.. T_T
• All those food looked so great!!! Hodong almost got everything wrong so they lost even the 5th dragon ball!
• You could tell he's not intentionally messing up.. he looked to the point of being so stressed up he teared up! The members were so frustrated but they also didn't want him to feel bad.
• And what on earth! Why would they say the "next clip" would be Seunggi cooking when that wasn't the case!!!!!!!

I didn't find these episodes as fun as last week.  The PD game was mean and Hodong losing every time was sad to watch.  I hope next week works out better for them.  

 

I like how they finally showed all the Airens following him around.

I didn't like how the episode ended in a frustrating way... ;;~;; Poor Hodong having the ultimate mental block.

 

First they spent ep 18 looking for someone impossible to find.. Next ep 19 with Hodong's mental block. It would've been better to combine both episodes into 1 and spend the last ep into something more fun.. Or relaxing I guess.

 

Cos as a viewer I'm already sad they lost that dragon ball mission of course I would've wanted a mood changer to that.. But Ep 19 made me feel worse and I was rather sorry than wanting to laugh at Hodong. They didn't even get to eat a thing.. TT_TT

 

 

 

I won't be surprised if DB decides to drop their recaps... And I think I'd prefer it like that. With how they were nitpicking the 3rd set which I actually thought was fun.. I'm rather protective of this one... With Hodong not at his best.. Ugh...

I also wish they had more individual games like the morning mission but more challenging than that. I guess dinner game would've been more fun if it was an individual game. We would get see competitive sides of the members that way. Like how jiwon chose to team up with seunggi..

I know! Like Hodong said, he's more comfortable with his oldstyle. I'd rather Hodong be comfortable and be his happy self in hosting than trying to be too careful all the time.

Anyways, I finally got to watch with eng subs.. WHERE's 11-1  SUBSSS?!?!! 

 

And so I was reminded of that Lee Myunghan PD part and I wanted to flip table at that! Hahahaha Hodonnnnggg!!!!! I'm sure he knew it was Lee PD, but mental block overpowered him.

 

And the boys not knowing who Seolhyun is (except Seunggi XD).. Jiwon's nonchalant question of "Who's that?"... hahahha

Okay, I finally got around to watching the subs yesterday and I found the episodes a lot more fun than I originally thought.  I so want to go to these Xi'an markets and eat too much.  The food all looks soo good. 

 

Soo Geun was genius and really in his element this episode.  Poor Hodong.  So flustered. Seunggi and Jiwon's photo mission was too easy, especially Seunggi's haha.  Though it was funny he had issues getting people OUT of the picture.  

 

I still didn't like the Find the PD mission.  So mean and impossible to do.  They should have at least made it so he didn't change his clothes/looks during it.  

 

I felt bad for Hodong during the other missions, but I love how everyone was playing mad (for variety sake) to start with, but once they saw he was actually upset they all tried to cheer him up and make a joke out of it. He was just have a bad day.  Poor guy.   I think Zhu Bajie will make a comeback though.   And I do really love how Hodong really is the only one who embraced the character.   His old school style in general is fun to watch and he shouldn't change.  It fits so well with the other guys, who are much more modern.   

 

All the guys though are so perfect together and endearing.   Hodong who is trying to become modern, but is best as he is,  Jiwon who didn't change and that's amazingly funny,  Seunggi who changed a lot and grew into a leader and Soo Geun who is working hard to gain back what he lost.  It's so fun to watch and I'll miss it.  

 

Can't believe next week is already the end.  I can't imagine what their wish is going to be.  Another trip?  

 

I was worried this wouldn't hit 50 million, but it will for sure.   It's already half way to 41 million right now.

I'm so happy Zhu Bajie is getting so much love and appreciation!

 

I felt bad with how uneasy Hodong was with his quiz failures, but I like how Seunggi said that "as long as you don't forget your family.." That was right in my kokoro!! ;;____;; And when Hodong was struggling and was tearing up, I saw Jiwon wiping his eyes (not sure if he was sleepy or what.. I don't think it was because of that though) and then when Hodong got the wrong answer again with Monk Xuanzang as answer Jiwon was wiping his eyes again and was complaining why are they giving this kind of questions to Hodong..

 

Though it reminds me of when someone would mess up and they would "beat" that person up.. And they had this make up of slap marks and blood.. hehehe

 

Anyways when Jiwon lost the morning mission, I thought those mission dates were the times when Jiwon lost them in 1N2D. Turns out those were missions when Jiwon manipulated the other members.. XD And this mission was rather a retribution by Hodong. And LOL when Jiwon said he would've done it but it's just that they were in China so he had to have some "manners". 

 

Yes, that Seunggi mission with getting more people than he needed. So adorable how he interacted with the kids! ♥♥♥

 

And that random Chinese at the start.. hahaha that guy's funny trying to listen in.. XD

 

Sugeun and his charade acting is still the best! And it was just like what he said, he was a bit out of it in the earlier days, but somewhere along the way, he decided that he has got to get a grip of himself. Go, go, go Sugeun!!!

Variety program ‘New Journey to the West’ which is headlined by Kang Ho Dong, Lee Seung Gi, Lee Soo Geun, and Eun Ji Won, has been a runaway success with fans despite it being only made available for online viewing, and Na Young Suk PD has stated it has surpassed his expectations.

 

As of last week, the total number of views for ‘New Journey to the West’ have surpassed 33 million.

 

With regards to the program’s success, Na PD stated, “I never expected any program of mine to be successful or reach my expectations, during the planning phase. The program is produced by the whole team, and we can only wait until the time it airs before knowing whether the viewers like it or not. ‘New Journey to the West’ achieved a really good result from the start, and the number of views have been increasing dramatically with each new episode. It has totally surpassed my expectations.â€
