I on the other hand keep replaying Ep 14... I just really love how we now know what PD Na's weakness is!

 

And Lee Sugeun even attempting to suggest that Jiwon be Sun Wukong for a day... yeah right..

They kept calling him the "crazy guy"... Hehehe his answer was definitely crazy and staff didn't see it coming at all. 

 

I also love scenes that involve Jiwon being cut by '3 Meals a Day' sceneries cos he would get out of control..

I also love that part where they were doing the camera tricks at Hodong.. And saying he's being pretentious at studying Chinese. And Hodong would even write the Chinese character in the air to show how focused he was.

 

It reminded me of the scene in 1n2d s1 where PD Na said the name of the place was based on a certain word. And Hodong wrote the character on air and people were impressed cos they thought he was writing in Hanja (Chinese character). But it was eventually pointed out (I forgot if it was sugeun or jiwon) that he just simply wrote in Hangeul.. XD And when the scene was rewinded and the editing followed Hodong's strokes.. it was indeed just Hangeul.. LOL

CJ E&M announced on September 21 that NJttW clips will be released over a period of 5 weeks. “Initially, we mentioned at the press conference that we planned to release 20 clips over 4 weeks. But because of the nature of internet contents, we’ve been editing and releasing it flexibly, going with the flow of the plot. After going through the production process, we’ve got more footage than expected. But the exact number of clips has not been decided yet.â€

Meanwhile, at 10am KST on September 22, Ep 16 will be released in order to help viewers better understand the plot development of the games that started in NJttW. It’s a clip of dragon ball acquisition mission where the monsters who failed to obtain the 1-star dragon ball tried to obtain it again.

I thought it was always going to release 25 episodes, but we are getting a new episode today (?) showing them getting the 1st dragon ball.  I wonder if they'll show that mission were Seunggi took a picture with KSH's cutout.   I thought that was a day 1 mission.

PD Na the hallyu star recognized the picture as success   Well, he did have his own fan meeting.

 

 

Was the one they got for winning Brand Quiz is two star? So they got two dragon balls so far. It's good that they give us this special episode. They need it so we'll know where did that one star dragon ball came from in the end.

They should've aired this episode sooner!!! Why did they leave this out?????? I mean, isn't this a pretty important ep, especially if they're mission was to gather all dragon balls.

 

Well, I'm glad they still ended up airing this. I think there was some apology note at the start so that might explain it.

Maybe it didn't fit in the flow of things.  It seemed day two?, but didn't really go with day two events.  Actually, I'd rather they skip the gambling away the dragon ball to this clip to find items.  It was funnier.  The dinner scene was also repeated in a better way in the newer episodes.  The first time they had to eat too much and then second time, not enough. 

 

And reading the recap, I'm confused that dramabeans still doesn't seen to "get" the format yet.  I actually really like it.  It's so easy to watch clips or watch what you want when you want to or skip want you don't want to watch.  The show is still an experiment and I think they are doing a good job.  Last week was slightly disappointing, but this week made up for it.

I understand about the 2nd set being not that good compared to the others.. but I really have nothing against the format. They already explained the reason for cutting up the clips and DB knows it too but they just don't seem to really like it. I'm guessing they're just more used to watching shows in one go without having to stop for the next clip? I'm sad though at how they seemed to be rejoicing at knowing as to when it's gonna end cos recapping it felt like torture? Though the recap sounded better too than last week's.

I actually didn't understand the editing in that gambling the dragon ball part.. I understood to some extent, just didn't see the humor in editing.. I just felt it was really daring..

tbh I don't think they are huge fans of any of Na PD's new stuff.  They are really hardcore S1 1n2d fans though.  They really disliked 3MAD for example.  Anyway, they don't hate the show but it's just frustrating they don't "get" the format when it's rather obvious and has been explained why it's not on TV.    I think you are right, they "get" it, but they don't like it and don't really want to say they don't like the format.  But I do.  I also really like the longer clips!  I hope they continue.  The longer clips seem to have higher viewers too.

 

I also was confused by the gambling end.  The editing last week was a bit messy though and too much was cut.  I'm glad they are making amends this week.  Like I said,  this is a new thing and they are learning how to do the show.  That's why if (or when!?) they do a S2 they'll be much better at it.

Dramabeans doesn't have anything to criticize so they go for the format. Honestly I used to enjoy their recaps but it's less and less funny, a bit-try hard since they criticized the show's name and format which are pretty easy and clear to understand.I do however get them criticizing last weeks editing since I didn't like it too much either.Agree with goldenmellow this whole show is an experiment and it's doing great, better than expected and its very entertaining.

Agree. I think it's really the format they're not going well with. But that's their thing.

 

What matters is that the show's doing well enough for an extension (which I'm pretty sure they already announced a few weeks back) and a highly possible Season 2. Netizen comments are also very much in favor of the show..

 

I do hope they keep up the pacing like the 3rd set.

 

There will be different opinions about the show, and while some will be disappointing, there are others who also like the show the way it is.

Episode 6 passed 2 million views.    So ep. 1-6 all have 2+ million with episode 1 having 3.5 million.

Well, aside from that, what's been bugging me is that their recaps are getting shorter and shorter.. It has the feeling "let's just get this over and done with".. I was hoping to read additional insights and stuff like untranslated captions.

That's why I read the recaps for insight since the translations we get are pretty basic and not always accurate.  Oh well.  Still fun.  

 

Yep, almost 34 million.  I wondering if they can reach 50 million.    Somehow I think it'll be around 45 million and that's going to bug the crap out of me.  But 10 more episodes to go.  the old episodes are still being watched too.   Might have to do some clicking.
