ahhhhh!!!!!! first 'youth over flowers' with reply cast and now njttw 2??!! Na PD is just unstoppable!!

ohh a forth member? it's hard to imagine a forth member who isn't part of the 1n2d cast though...=/. my heart wants it to be MC mong, but my brain tells me that's impossible..lol...

maybe they wanted to cast someone who is similar to Seung Gi? lol..Ahn Jae Hyun is the same age as Seung Gi (both born in 1987) and even stared in 'You're All Surrounded' =/ that's where the similarities end though.

 

but yea..it's kinda odd to cast someone who has never worked with those 3 before. but i trust Na PD~

Producer Na Young Seok has chosen Ahn Jae Hyun as the new face of his upcoming show 'New Journey to the West 2'.

 

He'll be taking the place of Lee Seung Gi, who is currently serving his mandatory military service. This means Ahn Jae Hyun will be entering as the new maknae or youngest member on the show. 

 

 

 

On February 18, the members of 'New Journey to the West 2', including Ahn Jae Hyun, flew to Chengdu, China to continue their shooting of the show. Many viewers were worried about Lee Seung Gi's absence, and they also grew curious about the possibility of a new member. However, tvN was rather secretive on this topic as the only statement they made was, "We do not know who will be the new member."

 

Ahn Jae Hyun seems to be the perfect fit as he already has experience from similar shows. In 2014, Ahn Jae Hyun was a member of the Chinese version of '1 Night 2 Days'. He also has experience working with one of the members, Lee Soo Guen, as he's previously appeared on 'High Society'. 

 

The news of 'New Journey to the West 2' shooting in China quickly spread through Weibo as many people have uploaded pictures of them in public places such as subways. 

 

Producer Na Young Seok is known to be the 'hawk eyes' as he is exceptionally good at casting, so the excitement of the new member, Ahn Jae Hyun, on is rising. 

that means he can understand mandarin? so they're casting someone who understands the language? where's the fun in that??!!

Not sure if you guys have heard, but I read an article where they are planning to schedule more filming for NJttW next month...

 

I don't know why, but they probably aren't satisfied with their footage from the last time? Or they are planning to extend it for a longer time perhaps?

it broke my heart a little when Sugeun said that he forgot about all variety shows except 1n2d during the past 2 years..

just watched the newest set of episodes and to be honest, i was really skeptical about Ahn Jae Hyun at first. but he turned out to be a really good addition  . not saying that he can replace Seung Gi though...lol.

 

but Na PD sure has great skill in casting people for his shows.

Spot on! I was really doubtful if AJH has what it takes to be on the same level of energy that the original members have.. But he has his own unique charms too and he's up to doing what he needs to do without appearing like he's trying too hard. Rather than replacing Seunggi... I think of him as a great addition to the cast. ^_^

LOL they could barely read the comments as they keep on coming in at such a speed! But way too many comments about how handsome eun jiwon is.. XD There's this one comment where Hodong read aloud... and it says "Eun Jiwon is prohibited to remarry" and then they zoomed in to Jiwon's reaction.. LOL

 

 

 

Hodong was like.. "It's really there though... I can't help but see it, I'm sorry." And Jiwon was like.. "You think I didn't see it myself? I saw it too!"     

 

There was also the part where they were trying to call AJH... and when somebody answered and they found out it was just his manager, Jiwon ust hung up.

 

And since the comments kept on coming fast... hodong saw one comment and all he got to read was "___ than Song Joongki" [something to the effect of let's say, kang hodong over song joongki] and he wanted to know who was that person!

 

And lol netizens were trolling..  "Hodong eats way more than Song Joongki" "Much funnier than song joongki!" "Zhu Bajie's head is much bigger than Song Joongki's!"

 

Then Sugeun finally gets to read a complete version and it turns out to be "Eun Jiwon is much more handsome than Song Joongki" and I think hodong's heart broke a little. hehehehe

 

these comments are so fast you would only be able to read them when you pause the screen. And sechs kies fans are on a roll these days because of the reunion..

i lost it at the 'pig me' dance...

 

and i can't believe that Na PD shirt is real...lol..that guy's practically a celebrity

i watched till epi 19..

 

and i gotta say...the silent shouting game to me was the highlight of the trip..lol... them pranking Ji Won and Jae Hyun, and Na PD going along with it so willingly. it's games like this that really make me miss 1n2d...

 

and them raiding Jae Hyun's home...hahaha...Ho Dong and Na PD kept teasing him about Goo Hye Sung like a bunch of kids...

 

i've said this before and i'll say it again...Na PD is a variety genius   

 

 

i can't wait to watch 20-22 tmr...
