so SM bought View? :(

Why is that a bad thing? Unless an artist is creating their own music or a piece is written specifically for them, many songs are written by songwriters for the sole purpose of being bought. That's why it's a demo. It can then be tailored to fit the artist's specific needs.

You are asking if there was an official original version before SHINee's? Then no.

A composer needs to send a demo of the song to the parts interested so they can hear if they wanted the song or not since you won't buy something you don't know if it's worth it, SM probably bought the song that came with this demo and sent the demo to Ian so he could work in the choreography while SHINee recorded it. Ian is using it now to teach, probably with SM's permission. You can still see in the title of the video the song be refere to as a SHINee song. ^^

It's not a bad thing but I was excited that SM nailed the deep house genre perfectly when View first came out.  The song still slays though so I'm not too sad.

View was written specifically for SHINee though. LDN Noise composed it especially for SHINee in SM's facilities...
