So grumpy Junhyung gave in since BEAST is pre-releasing a dance track instead of a ballad...

Junhyung's reality show, Good Life, with his co-producer & friend Kim Taejoo showed a scene on last week's episode were both had a disagreement on which track they should choose out of 2. The 2 tracks were supposedly a dance/eletronic with a house type of feeling track and a slow/ballad track. Taejoo with 3 other friends chose the upbeat track over the ballad but Junhyung didn't agree. This ended up with Junhyung halting the filming of the show. The production team wanted both to reconcile so they went to Okinawa to make the atmosphere better I guess.

^ It should be at around the 17min mark

It was just revealed today that the upcoming pre-released track, "I Have to Go Work", is an upbeat song.... I guess Junhyung either gave in or lost. I guess the majority of the Beast members wanted the upbeat track too. Well, I hope the other track ended up in the album.

[TRANS] BEAST, 5 years in a row 'Pre-release successful homerun' challenge...surprise announcement of 'I Have to Go Work'

"I Have to Go Work" is a dance track that wittily expresses the regret of a man who has to leave his loved one to go to work. Good Life, the producing team that Yong Junhyung is in, wrote the song. This song has an impressionable controlled rhythm and electronic piano sound. The realistic lyrics speak for men living in this generation. You will be able to see BEAST's change through the flow of the song that exudes thoughtfulness that is sure to target girls' hearts.

BEAST's 8th mini album 'Ordinary', that will be released on the 27th, will contain ordinary, everyday frankness and "I Have to Go Work" is the track that represents the new album's musical personality the clearest.

Nicey  :chu: I think the otherer song will be on the album, Jun will get his way somehow. The way I see it, it could just as well be TJ that lost if Jun's option turns out to be the title song. Something to cry excitedly about YeY!  :rlytearpls: :la:  :rlytearpls:  :la:

Hahaha grumpy Junnie gave in, but the episode was so cute, tho  :ilove:

Beast dancing hehe, all I can think right now. Please, anticipate.

That's my contribution to this thread, love that he was grumpy and pouty in that episode.

He doesn't have to do much to get me convinced. He doesn't have to do anything at all, I'll gladly cater to his wishes and demands  :raep:

Idk I assumed (from what they said on the show) the song jun favored would be the title. :derp: tbh idk how I got to that conclusion

although if I remembered correctly when the summaries of the different shows were up on Cube TV back in mid June? - Didn't it mention about releasing a song ahead of the July comeback? Which is why I had little doubt that there won't be a pre-release this time around. Which was why I thought whatever song they were choosing then was for the pre-release? lol

We will see soon... ^^ If the title track ends up slow-ish then the song Junhyung favored won... I guess... lol If it is - then, Beast probably overruled Taejoo and his friends' choice or Taejoo gave in to Junhyung.

I think the two songs were: a fast electronic or a slower house type song @18:10

Did Junhyung mention that the title track would have house music in it? Because the slower house one they mention is probably the title track? Idk  Â¯\_(ツ)_/¯

oh maybe I misunderstood but... the only time he more or less said sth about the comeback track from the press conference was an upbeat summer song which is refreshing and would make you cry excitedly? O.o

/LOL
