æš—å¤œé‡Œé£˜è¡ å¤šå°‘ç—´å¿ƒå¦„æƒ³
戒ä¸æŽ‰æ„Ÿä¼¤ é”进回忆的百å®ç®±
人总是奢望 是莽撞 是为了梦一场
离开安稳的胸膛 颠簸æµæµª

lí kÄi Än wÄ›n de xiÅng táng / diÄn bÇ’ liú làng

How much wishful thinking drifts in the dark of the night.
The sentimentality that cannot abstain from lock away in memory's treasure box.
Humans always carry extravagant hope; are rash; all in order to dream a dream,
[They] leave behind the steady chest [that has sheltered them] and lead a turbulent life, roaming about.

凭什么对爱盼望

Don't laugh at me for being absurd. Dreams are too hard to abandon and too hard to forget.
If one wants to proceed towards heaven, one must first go through many perils.
[i'm] accustomed to using loneliness, using stubbornness, to build my disguise.
let [my] heart hurt until have no means to forgive.
Why should hope for love?

Don't use [what's] engraved upon [my] heart and carved into [my] bones to ask me how I have been[1].
Don't use [your] unregretfulness and magnanimity to go crazy for love with me.
Don't let the tears burn again. I am powerless to resist.
How does one forget a person whom one has spent a lifetime believing in?

See through my desire, bring me out of despair.
The lie of " will never leave [you]" is the disappointment [that leaves] us disheartened.

[Even] after innumerable hardships, putting forth all [my] effort, cannot forget your appearance.
The unforgettable wounds all over [my] body become my strength.
The unforgettable light in [your] gaze is hidden upon my heart.
When I turn [my] head and look around [behind me] again, [it] reminds me to stay strong.
The person whom used a lifetime to forget is hidden upon my heart.

T/N:

[1] 别æ¥æ— æ™ is literally "since [our] parting, no illnesses or troubles?", which is said in greeting to someone you haven't seen in a while. So whereas "how have you been?" is its functional equivalent in English, it is perhaps more appropriate to translate it as "I trust that you've been well since we last parted ways".

I was expecting a sad connotation to this song, but gosh, the lyrics are somewhat bittersweet and it hurts even more than straight up angst. :(

Thanks so much for the hard work! (And also for translating my requests flawlessly each and every time!)  :chu:  :chu:  :chu:
